  1. You don't really need to "gather" them, rather walk into your bank near the time and ask for a 12 month statement, which most will do on the spot (Bangkok Bank the notable exception). The bank will stamp and sign the pages and also provide the standard immigration letter.
  2. If the country you are applying in is in the e-visa system, i.e. Cambodia, you have no choice, but you still must be in that country when applying, It's e-visa only. You don't have to go to the consulate. Otherwise, as in the case of Laos you have to go in person, e-visa is not possible (yet).
  3. He now needs a 30 day extension. Easy, no agent needed. Then open a bank account, he will need to use an agent. In Pattaya its possible. Then dump 800k in it. Then apply for the non-O more than 15 days before the 30 day extension expires. He'll then get a 90 day stamp. Towards the end of that 90 days get an annual extension.
  4. Well I understood him, he was answering the question.
  5. The current IATA travel advice says; "Visa Exemptions: Passengers with a British passport traveling as tourists or on business for a maximum stay of 60 days. Extension of stay possible for an additional 30 days." However, it also says a visa is required for a 75 day trip which does rather conflict with their advice.
  6. 7-11
  7. I will go to CW to do my first ever 90 day report next week. Just for fun I thought I'd try the online system in case by some glitch it went through. As expected it was rejected but the reason was very clearly stated; "For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required."
  8. I use Traveloka as a backup when airline sites are a pain, works fine. But if I was going to Clark I would prefer to go via Hong Kong (or elsewhere) as Cebu direct arrives at 03:10, less than ideal.
  9. Probably entered correctly then at some point decided to u-turn, not much less dangerous than the legal u-turns in many cases.
  10. Classed by who?
  11. Western Union (or one of many others) perhaps. Till it's sorted.
  12. There have always been either visa exempt entries and for a few countries a visa on arrival. If you mention your passport country then you can get accurate advice.
  13. Nothing, but possibly (probably) not accepted as no bank stamp/signature on it.
  14. Taiwan (listed as Chinese Taipei) is not on the e-visa system so presumably you can apply in person. Website is https://tteo.thaiembassy.org/
  15. ....and this news was reported when exactly?
  16. That part is about how many people are having visas issued, not about seats. Single is fine for what you want, but you will certainly need your wife to attend with you.
  17. Possibly but in this case he forgot them. And he doesn't have the "right" to import them by mail.
  18. In which case hopefully the 1 or 2 night rule doesn't apply, maybe somebody knows @Tod Daniels
  19. How, I don't know. Why? Discount, my GF gets it. Not much and not worth any effort but she seems to like it.
  20. Well yes, 99.999999% he was not talking about "tuk-tuks" as we all know.
  21. Indeed, but in no way relevant to the topic being discussed.
  22. Never been but I believe that is correct, or rather "entertainment" if that's your thing.
