Visa exempt 30 days uk national rejected
ubonjoe replied to JFHuaHin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The 3 entry tourist visa has been replaced by the multiple entry tourist visa that That allows unlimited 60 day entries for 6 months from the day it issued. The 15 day visa exempt entry at land borders was eliminated a few years ago. A 30 day entry is now allowed twice per calendar year. -
Didn't receive social security payment this month
ubonjoe replied to steveb5's topic in Home Country Forum
It would be paid on the 3rd of the month if using a Thailand address for the SSA. I got mine on the 1st since the 3rd was on a Sunday. If not using a Thailand address then it depends upon your date of birth as per the PDF posted above. -
30 or 7 day extension of NON OA Visa possible
ubonjoe replied to stat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
When does your Non-OA visa expire? That is an important date since after that day you would not get a new one year entry. -
Non 0 visa 90 day report query
ubonjoe replied to Foreignheight6foot2's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Online 90 day reports are approved by your local office. Your extension ending has nothing to do with 90 day reports. They are 2 separate things you have to do. -

A visa cannot be canceled. You would submit a termination letter to cancel your extension of stay based upon teaching at the office that issued it. You will need to submit the letter prior the date on the termination letter and have the cancelation postdated. Then you could go the immigration office where you wife is living to apply for the 60 day extension to visit her. She will need to be with you when you apply for it.

The immigration officer was at least partially correct but used the wrong wording about applying for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. It is a normal requirement for your wife to be with you when you apply for the extension. You will need to cancel your extension based upon teaching (your non-b visa cannot be canceled) to apply for the 60 day extension at the office where you applied for it. If you could get a termination letter from the school and go to immigration before the date on the letter they could post date the cancelation to that day to give you time to apply for the 60 day extension.

Visa exempt 30 days uk national rejected
ubonjoe replied to JFHuaHin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It was a 30 day visa exempt arrival stamp. -
There is no need to apply the Thailand Pass now if you are not traveling until June. You can do it about 2 weeks before your arrival date. Also many things are subject to change by June.

Try again later or tomorrow since you have plenty of time to do the report if it is not due until next week. -
90 day online reporting problem
ubonjoe replied to Koratdave's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I cannot fully test for the same problem since my report is not not due. Was able to complete the page using the magnifying glass option to complete the report page and check my previous report. Are you sure you completed all the required fields? -
90 Day Report was rejected.
ubonjoe replied to Robbie63's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The 15 days includes the report date when it is counted. Easier to just count 2 weeks before you report date. For example if your report was due on the 25th of this month you could do the report today the 11th. -
