  1. Have you applied for 30 day extension yet? That can be included in the required 15 days.
  2. It is only needed to enter Thailand. You only have to meet the requirements to enter the country you are traveling to when you leave Thailand. If the insurance meets the requirements for entry to Thailand it will be accepted if you have proof of it.
  3. Best to look on the Thailand Pass website for info. https://tp.consular.go.th/
  4. You cannot apply for a tourist visa while in the country. They are only issued by embassies and consulates.
  5. A visa on arrival is only for 15 days after paying a 2000 baht fee if you are form one of the 18 courtiers that qualify for it. I assume you mean a 30 day visa exempt entry. There is not limit on them by air and at land border crossings it 2 per calendar year.
  6. The only crossing mentioned at this time is the Sadao crossing in Songkhla.
  7. The only cases can recall of a person had a problem due to not canceling their extension was when a person was on a extension based upon working when they went to immigration to apply for a new extension. Immigration wanted a letter from the previous employer to cancel it before they would issue a new one based upon working. No problem for those on other types of extensions.

  9. Links for appointments for all offices in Bangkok is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131
  10. It was only a suggestion to avoid being here to apply for a new extension and paying a agent to cover the 800k baht in the bank. Not sure what the insurance would cost but it could be less than the agent fee.
  11. Everything and border crossing will only be for Thais and Malaysians at Sadao. I have seen nothing yet by air.
  12. No But most offices will want a new TM30 to be submitted to change your address back to your designated office to do a 90 day report,
  13. I think I got it and TM47 form mixed up. I asked my grandaughter about it she said Ubon but that may of been the TM47.
  14. They apparently had it down to do some changes. It now has a selection for air travel or land travel when it first opens.
  15. As I wrote the amount is not mentioned. It only states a bank statement is needed. Many embassies and official consulates have the same wording and they accepted 20k baht or more.
  16. That seems to be definitive that they will meet you and get the visa done. In the past that would meet you at the arrival gate and escort you to to clear immigration and then get your visa sticker and a one year entry from it.
  17. You try Phnom Penh. Cambodia is open by air. Requirements for a non-b visa is here but if working it direct you to a different website. https://phnompenh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-b-visa-to-work-or-conduct-business-in-thailand?page=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a1&menu=5d73b14415e39c46f40076a2 It might be easier to leave and re-enter the country with a tourist visa or visa exempt entry and apply for the non-b at immigration. With a valid extension of stay based upon retirement is gett the work permit application approved. If you could get that you change the reason for your extension of stay from retirement to working.
  18. I thought you were asking about doing it at immigration again. Phnom Phen only mentions a bank statement but no amount is mentioned so I assume it is the standard 20k baht needed for any visa. It seems you on track to get you 60 day extension and the one year extension done.
  19. Did you have a VPN turned on when you tried doing it on your computer? That could cause a problem.
  20. Mine shows Ubon Ratchathani in Thai here. Reports done by a immigration office do not appear on the online reporting sites (old and new).
  21. They might be doing them at the airport now but i have seen no posts about it. The only way to know for sure it to contact Thailand Elite.
  22. No and as I wrote you would not be able to apply for one since you entered the country with one. If you apply for a extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai the 400k baht only has to be in the bank on the day you apply. Some offices might do it that way if you are married and have children.
  23. You would of been under the amnesty that was in effect then. A 60 day extension to visit your wife would have a stamp under it mentioning immigration order 327/2557 and clause 2.24 for it.
