  1. You change the reason for your extension of stay based upon working to retirement without leaving your country. You will need to be meet the financial requirements for the extension of stay based upon retirement on the day you apply. Before the change your current extension based upon working must be canceled at the office that issued it and then you can apply for the extension at the immigration office where you are living. Not sure about your Thai SS question. As far as I know it will depend upon your age and number of years you have been working. I do know that you can continue your medical coverage by arranging to pay a small monthly fee for it.
  2. It does not matter if you have gotten a 60 day extension or not. If you have one now and entered the country visa exempt or on a tourist visa your can still apply for another one until March 25th at this time. If they extend the order again in March you could get another one after that.
  3. The TM28 form was replaced by a TM27 form for a change of address only but most offices still have the TM28 forms but only require them for a change of address. The TM28 was also used for staying in another province longer than 24 hours but that requirement was eliminated in February of 2022. Most office accept a TM30 report instead of a TM27/28 form.
  4. The Thailand Pass site has not been shut down for the sand boxes or quarantine hotel options. I was only closed for the Test & Go option.
  5. That is not entirely correct. Those who entered visa exempt or on a tourist visa can still apply for a new extension until March 25th at this time. Those that entered with a non immigrant visa cannot apply for another extension now. I have a friend that entered on a non-o visa who was told by immigration that his current extension that he got before January 25th will not be extended again (March 17th).
  6. He has a receipt for one that may of been done long ago. That is how some offices do it. I have never filed a TM30 report but the receipt for one was put in my passport when I applied for my extension last year. It is all in Thai except for my name. I assume they though I should have one in my passport to prove my address that is shown on it.
  7. The problem with entering visa exempt or with a tourist visa is changing to a non-ed visa if attending a informal school (such as a language one) is not on the list to do the change. Only those attending a formal (university) school is listed. The extra fee is to arrange the approval of the visa application.
  8. You do not need a confirmed flight to apply for a Thailand Pass. It is not asked for. For the sandboxes a 7 day SHA++ hotel reservation is needed. If you have every required for the Thailand Pass it will be approved. There lots of info on the site. https://tp.consular.go.th/
  9. No problem for you since you had a extension of attending a school. The only one that can be a problem is a extension based upon working not being canceled. A few offices have insisted that the extension be canceled before they would issue a new one based upon working.l
  10. Moved to the Uk and EU forum that is part of the home country forum.
  11. That means you cannot apply for the insurance and use it while sill in the country. It can only be purchased and be used to enter the country and be used until it expires after entering the country.
  12. On the application form the middle name is not marked as a required field. But I assume that is due to some people not having one.
  13. I think I suggested you check with your local office about since you have almost a year of transfers already. Apparently they said no. Now sure why immigration will not accept transfers for a non-o visa application. I can understand the reasoning it if a person had just arrived and only had a couple of transfer to show.
  14. I don't think they will do a new receipt. The receipt i have does not have my passport number on it.
  15. If you entered the country with a non-o visa you will not be able to apply for new 60 day covid 19 extension.
  16. Bascily no. Some offices have been reported as wanting a ticket out ot the country.
  17. You will not have a problem with a different passport than the one you used when your registered you marriage. When I applied for my first extension based upon marriage I used a different passport than the one I had when we registered our marriage.
  18. There is no minimum number of days to use a re-entry permit as long as it is done before it expires. Of course you would not want to do so late that you did not have time to apply for anther extension. I am aware of people entering with about 5 days remaining and then applying for their new extension.
  19. Since you entered the country visa exempt you will be able to get another 60 day covid 19 extension.
  20. Your marriage certificate and Kor Ror 2 cannot be changed. When go to immigration with a new passport to have your stamps transferred they will do a stamp that has spaces to enter your old passport number and info about the visa you used to get the stay you have been extending in you new passport.
  21. I don't think they would want a new TM30 report. The old one has your name, TM6 number on it and the only different is the passport number. They will change your passport number in their records when you have your stamps transferred.
  22. I have seen report of some offices accepting a joint account that had 1.6 million for a married couple applying for extensions based upon retirement.
  23. That is is what the heading for it states. But the 2nd line states this. "Financial evidence e.g. A copy of pension statement if the applicant is a pensioner, or a copy of 1-month bank statement showing your income from pension, or 3-month bank statement of at least £10,000" Source: https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84508-non-immigrant-visas?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5f4b6eb3f6ae4b236972c562
