  1. That is just old out of date info on the embassy, consulate and immigration websites. About all embassy and consulate websites are way out of date with some showing info from 2008 or before. You have to remember that they normally have nothing to do with visa exempt entries. Nothing has changed since the immigration order for extensions of stay was changed in 2014. This is what the order states.
  2. I would depend upon the immigration office you are dealing with. As I wrote not all office are wanting a termination letter if you left without having the extension canceled. Having proof your previous employer is not available since they shut down might be accepted.
  3. The written rules do not mention transfers of 65k baht income to apply for a non-o visa. It only mentions proof of income from a embassy. See: https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/8-1.pdf For a extension application the rules state 2 months of transfers can be accepted but the wording is unclear since it says from the start of retirement. Many offices have refused the transfer option for people that had already been it the country before applying for the extension and required a full year of transfers to do it.
  4. I can recall people doing online reporting to there. Very few offices don't process them and just leave them pending.
  5. You will need a completed TM7 form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached. Copies of your passport photo page, arrival stamp and TM6 departure card. No need for a ticket out of the country. Dependent upon where you apply the may want a TM30 report receipt for proof you are staying in the province where you apply. If staying in hotel they should of done one online when you checked in.
  6. It is possible to change to apply for non-ed visa with a the covid 19 extension of a visa exempt entry. How easy or the cost to get it done will depend upon the type of school and the course of study you will be doing. The rules for it are based around applying for the non-ed visa for attending a university or some classified as a formal school. Language schools and etc are considered informal schools.
  7. A fine may need to be paid for the work permit not being canceled. You new employer will need to pay it before applying for your new one. Dependent upon the office where you apply for a new extension they might want to see to have a termination letter from your previous employer. I have seen not recent reports of that happening though.
  8. Most immigration websites are out of date for info about extensions. This from the immigration order issued in 2014 allowing them. Info on embassy and consulate websites are ever worse since some has info that has been out of date of many years.
  9. The 60 day covid is available until November 26th. After that it is unknown. I would not suggest it to anybody that is not in the country at this time.
  10. I think he was writing about the 400k baht for a extension based upon marriage not retirement.
  11. That medical insurance is not required for a non-o visa based upon marriage. It is only needed for retirement and it only requires 90 days of insurance. Covid 19 insurance is required for both of them.
  12. It depends upon the embassy or official consulate that processes and approve you online application. It should be fairly quick after it is accepted.
  13. Your current extension of stay based upon working has to be canceled before you change the reason for your extension to one based upon retirement. You will still have your original non-b visa entry since a non immigrant visa categories cannot be changed while in the country.
  14. The $100,000 medical insurance that includes covid 19 treatment is only for new OA visas. Only the $100k insurance is required. No other type of visa requires it.
  15. The insurance for Non-OA visa has been raised to $100,000 insurance that includes covid 19 coverage. The 40/400 insurance it no longer required. It is only required for new visa issued until 30 September of next year when it will apply to existing OA visas and extension of the entry from one.
  16. The embassy in France is using the e visa system and they now issue stickerless visas that you get email. No need for a trip to the embassy. See: https://thaievisa.go.th/
  17. For an extension based upon marriage it is 2 month before the day you apply for every extension. The 2 and 3 month rule was for retirement and that wend away over 2 years ago.
  18. Applying for a extension of stay does not reset your 90 day report unless the officer does one and puts a receipt it for in your passport. You still have the same 90 day report date after after applying for an extension. I applied for my extension in August and did a online 90 day report a little over 2 weeks later.
  19. You apparently were trying to register your foreign marriage to get a Kor Ror 22 marriage registry at a Amphoe that immigration requires. I have never heard of a Amphoe not accepting a affidavit done at the US embassy to self certify your marriage certificate. Did you have it and your marriage certificate translated to Thai and have it certified at the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA in Bangkok? The will also certify the consular officers signature on the affidavit.
  20. It could not be used while outside the country. But it could be used to enter the country again. Not exactly sure what you mean. The insurance will valid until the day your current extensions ends. After that you would not need it to meet any requirement regarding insurance. If you wanted covid 19 insurance you could buy it here for less coverage and certainly less cost.
  21. That is a non-o visa. It is not a tourist visa. He would have to be 50 or over to apply for it.
  22. Perhaps try contacting them for about doing you application before November 22nd. https://munich.thaiembassy.org/de/page/kontakt
  23. The instruction manual has info about files size and etc. https://thaievisa.go.th/static/English-Manual.pdf Looking this page of the embassy website it appears the notarization has been dropped. https://thaiembdc.org/2020/11/17/oalongstay/
  24. How would he apply for tourist visa while in the country? He would have to leave the country to apply for a tourist visa at a embassy or consulate.
