  1. I got the 2nd notice yesterday. For me it is deja vu from 2019 when I got one and had confirmed delivery of the first one. Got nowhere with phone calls, fax and a email to Manila. Could do nothing so waited to see if I got the 3rd notice about it telling me my benefits end. I have proof of delivery for this year as well. About to the point of letting it go for now. There are more posts about it in the topic on the main page of this forum This is the most recent post.
  2. When? The crossings to Myanmar are still closed at this time. When opent they were doing day passes for a fee of 500 baht (No stickers). Laos has visa available online for certain airports and crossings. Number 6 is a new one they recently added. It is located in Chiang Rai province. See: https://laoevisa.gov.la/index
  3. Where are you located? Laos could be a much longer trip than Cambodia dependent upon where you staying.
  4. No Ban Pakard is a crossing in Chantaburi province. Map here: https://goo.gl/maps/CX1u9wPFEEzXFxjYA
  5. That is not a immigration website look at the bottom of that page. That site does mention the non-o for retirement. You do need to dig to find it or start a application for a visa. The immigration website does have a non-o visa for retirement on it. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  6. I heard of a agent holding the passport while a non-o visa application was being approved and then until the agent did the one year extension at immigration.;
  7. Since you do not need a Lao visa on arrival another option is the Chong Mek crossing here in Ubon Ratchathani that is about 90 km from the airport. Plenty of flights per day from Bangkok to Ubon. There are vans available at the airport or you can go to the bus station. No bridge to cross. Just walk from Thai immigration to the Lao side of things

  9. If the affidavit for the self certification is done and signed at your embassy it will be accepted. It would need to be translated to Thai and certified by the DCA. They will certify the translation and confirm the signature of the consular officer that witnessed your signature on the affidavit,
  10. Have you had your marriage certificate legalized in the country where you got or at your embassy if they do them, Then it has to be translated to Thai and the translation be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA in Bangkok, After the above you will have to register your foreign marriage at a Amphoe to get a Kor Ror 22 marriage registry that immigration requires, That has been discussed many times in the Marriage and Divorce forum.
  11. When you do a report online they send you a PDF file with for your receipt that you can print out and put in your passport.
  12. They don't have their own translation service at the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA. At one time their were a couple of booths offering translation services but those are gone now.
  13. That stopped issuing TM6 forms a few months ago when entering by air. By land they still issue them. Immigration offices are aware that they are not being issued.
  14. It is only available for those in Bangkok at this time to test it. Only the extension listed on the page you posted a link to. The numbers next to them is the clause numbers used in the police order for extension of stay.
  15. That is correct for both airports in Bangkok. But at other airports with international departures it may be different.
  16. I would assume just your ID card. That is all that Thais need to renew their ID cards. And perhaps the house book you are registered or a copy of it.
  17. There is no requirement to apply for the extension 30 days early. It can be done up to the day it expires. You have plenty of time to apply for your extension. In my opinion the best thing to do to avoid problems is to use a translation service to do the translation and the certification of it at the Department of Consular Affairs' of the MFA..
  18. The embassy website still states it is required. Source: https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84508-non-immigrant-visas?page=5d6636cd15e39c3bd00072dd&menu=5f4b6eb3f6ae4b236972c562 Page is dated as 31 August 2022.
  19. You have to leave and re-enter the country without a re-entry permit or enter after it expires.
  20. The non-b visa that issued for business purposes and only allows you to attend meetings and etc. It would normally be issued by a embassy or consulate as a multiple entry visa if requested. It would allow unlimited 90 day entries for one year from the day it issued.
  21. A TM30 report is enough but best to take it to immigration with copies of the owners house book and ID card to insure your registered address is changed. The might also want a copy of the rental agreement.
  22. Ignore that notice for the 90 day report. The system is not linked to correct the report date when you enter the country. Your report is due 90 day from the day you enter the country. You can do a report about 2 weeks early up to that day. Be sure you change your arrival date when you the report.
  23. Not if you entered by air. False info. You do not need to fill out one to do anything at immigration.
  24. Not office specific. It is shown in number 8 fo the requirements for visa application. Source: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  25. You would apply for a one year extension of stay during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay from the non-o visa You need to have a non-o visa to apply for the extension based upon retirement.
