  1. I am using the 40k baht income option. The advantage I have is that have my SSA payments are direct deposited to Bangkok Bank via their NY branch and they are FTT transfers. I only need a one year bank statement to prove my income. I also provide a copy of my annual SSA statement for proof of the source of it.
  2. You will use your new passport when entering the country. No need for the letter from your embassy to do the stamp transfer at immigration.
  3. The Australian embassy does not do a letter now. They do a stamp in the new passport.
