    No My income is not earned in Thailand and is pension payments.

    I am using the 40k baht income option. The advantage I have is that have my SSA payments are direct deposited to Bangkok Bank via their NY branch and they are FTT transfers. I only need a one year bank statement to prove my income. I also provide a copy of my annual SSA statement for proof of the source of it.

    You will use your new passport when entering the country. No need for the letter from your embassy to do the stamp transfer at immigration.

    A new immigration order was issued in 2014. For informal schools the total stay for a non-ed visa is 1 year.

    It will not be a problem to change the reason for your extension from working to retirement. You will need a termination letter stating the last day you will be working.

    You can change the reason for your extension of stay when you get divorced. Best to contact your local immigration office to confirm what they require for the new extension.

    You can only stay for a total stay of one year from the day you enter the country using a non-ed visa. You get 90 day extensions of the 90 entry from the non-ed visa,

    If your extension of stay is canceled you need to leave the same day it is canceled. You can get 7 days to leave the country by applying for a extension and paying the 1900 baht fee for it.
