  1. You can apply for the extension of stay up to the last day of your current one expires. You would get the normal 30 day under consideration stamp. Whether witnesses are required or not depends upon the office where you apply for the extension. It will probably take about the same amount of time for the approval as for the first one.
  2. Visa exempt entries are limited to 2 per calendar year at land border crossings. There is no limit on the number of entries you can do using a tourist visa or any other valid visa,
  3. Was that done using the mobile app that gives that false message? The report could of been done by just ignoring it. Or were you using the new website ( https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login ) that does not have that erroneous message. Edit: This from the new site guide. " Not due for the next due date. (Apply after the previous petition is approved in 1 – 75 days)" Source: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/manual/IndexForeign.html
  4. You will probably need at least the receipt for one being done. If one was not done that would be handled at different desk at Chaeng Wattana immigration if that is where you will be applying for the non-o visa.
  5. Since you already have the visa STV visa you will be able to enter using it and getting a 90 day stay. Whether you will be able to get the 90 day extensions will depend upon the STV order being extended. I personally think it will be extended.
  6. Where will you be applying for the non-o visa? What embassy website are you looking at?
  7. You would be applying for a extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon retirement since you will be on a non-o visa entry.
  8. You could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife if you have not applied for one since your last entry to the country.
  9. For a non-o visa or the extension of it you only need 400k baht in a Thai bank if applying based upon marriage to a Thai. Requirements for the non-o visa application at immigration is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/6.FOR-PROVIDING-SUPPORT-TO-OR-BEING-A-DEPENDANT-OF-A-THAI-CITIZEN-SPOUSE-VISA-NON-O.pdf When applying for the one year extension based upon marriage the 400k baht needs to be in bank for 2 months on the day you apply.
  10. The current order for the STV does not end until September 30th. I think some immigration offices are still doing extensions of the entry from an existing STV.
  11. I have seen other posts about not receiving the newsletters. Have you checked that it did not go into your spam folder.
  12. If you already have a METV you will not require a ticket for anything you do here or for entering the country. You can turn around and return to Thailand after entering another country to get a new 60 day stay from the visa.
  13. Are you asking about a visa extension for staying in the UK? If yes you have posted on the wrong forum.
  14. Not any more. The are using the e visa site now and at the embassy in Ottawa as well. See: http://www.thaiconsulatevancouver.ca/th/บริการกงสุล/
  15. It is about the same to enter Thailand but the test can be done up to 72 hours before entry.
  16. That should not make any difference to doing the report. What is the reason for her report not being accepted? Has she done a in person report at immigration? What is her visa or extension of stay status?
  17. When you apply for your new passport at VFS they will return your passport to you. It will not be canceled until you pickup your new passport. Have you tried doing your reports online?
  18. A TM6 arrival card is not required at immigration now. If you are staying in hotel ask them for screen shot of the TM30 report they did online. If not the owner/landlord needs to do the TM30.
  19. You will have to start all over again.
  20. Immigration do not ask for proof of accommodations when entering the country. The airline may ask to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days.
  21. You can apply for a non-o visa at immigration. You will need at least 21 days (Chiang MaI rule) remaining on your 30 day visa exempt entry or the 30 day extension of it. Requirments are here: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf Then during the last 30 day of the 90 days the visa will allow you can apply for a one year extension of stay.
  22. I have seen nothing yet stating the 60 day covid 19 extensions order has been extended. The emergency decree and others in that news article means nothing for the covid 19 extensions.
  23. You would first apply for a non-o visa at your local immigration office. Requirements are here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf Then during the last 30 days of the 90 days from the visa you could apply for a one year extension.
