  2. Anybody having problems with rejections on new site should look at the last few pages of this pinned topic. Thai immigration launches new online 90 day reporting system It is often an error when entering your address. You need to put a house or room/condo number on it.
  3. The new site will work on any browser. The old site did not work well with some browsers.
  4. It does not matter where you are staying. You will have to do 90 day reports.
  5. If you have proof of 40k baht going into a Thai bank from abroad you can use it. The account would have to be in in your name only.

When embassies and official consulates started issuing non-o visas back in 2020 when they opened the country again for those on retirement extensions and etc is when they put in the insurance requirements. Before that the majority of Thai embassies and official consulates were not issuing non-o visas for retirement.
  7. No need for most of the OA visa requirements. None of those are needed to apply for a non-o visa or extension of stay based upon retirement at immigration.
  8. Since your are married to a Thai you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit her to give you more time to do a one year extension at immigration. You can apply for a extension of stay based upon marriage that would only require 400k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months. You would not need to show proof of medical insurance to apply for the extension as well.
  9. For a non-o visa application at a embassy or consulate it has to cover medical treatment for 90 days. No medical insurance is needed if done at immigration.
  10. That is a made up rule created by some immigration offices. There is no such rule in any immigration order or regulation.
  11. The majority of immigration offices do not do another home visit. Only a few odd offices do them every year.
  12. You only need to apply for a new extension at immigration. You can keep applying for one every year for as long as you want to. Same documents and etc as the one last year.
  13. It may be incorrect. Check to see what is required after registering for the site and doing a application. You would not have to complete the application if you did not want to at time. The 30 day extensions can be applied for at any immigration office located where you're staying. You will need the a completed TM7 form, copies of your passport photo page and entry stamp. Proof you are staying where the office is located such as proof of a TM30 form being submitted by where you are staying.

  15. If you apply for the non-o visa and then a one year extension based upon retirement no proof of insurance will be required. Only embassies and official Thai consulates are asking for it when applying for a non-o visa for retirement.
  16. That appears to be a case if a person only has the cancelled passport. What has been stated on this topic you can use a valid visa or re-entry permit in the old cancelled passport by showing both passports when entering Thailand.

  19. Yes There has already been reports of people not needing one to enter the country. You can't give immigration something that you didn't get when arriving.
  20. It would be the same visa but it would be a sticker in your passport. You could apply in Vientiane Laos for one. No need for tickets in or out or accommodations.   22. You would still have to leave and re-entry the country to use the visa. Almost as easy to apply for the tourist visa at a nearby embassy or consulate. Apply the morning of one day and pickup the next afternoon.
  23. It does not require you to be the owner to register to do online TM30 report. It can be done as the possessor of the residence.
  24. You can apply for a 30 day extension of your 30 day visa exempt entry. You cannot apply for a tourist visa while in the country. It can only be applied for at a Thai embassy or consulate.
