  1. Say what ? Does it need more beauty salons too ?
  2. I use cialis to lower my blood pressure. It is, after all , what it was designed to do. I buy Graku capsules ( supposedly chinese herbal medicine for ID ) the active ingredient of which is cialis. ( Not mentioned on box but confirmed by analysis. ) I find that if I take half a capsule when my BP exceeds 160 it brings it back down to about 125 and the effect can last upto 4 or 5 days. No need to take it daily. So one capsule can be used every 2 or 3 weeks. Amlodipine 5 mg does little or nothing to lower BP. If I up the dose to 10 mg it begins to work but with unpleasant side effects. Prenolol also dramatically reduces BP but it has been discredited recently since in tests , although it reduced BP , it did not improve the chances of heart attack or stroke compare to placebo group. Best natural way to reduce BP is to give up all alchohol and get regular vigorous exercise.
  3. Pythons are non venomous so are pretty easy to handle. No brave hearts or wizardry needed.
  4. Similar question. Which is better . Standard Rizlas or longer ones ? Could never seem to understand the popularity of long cone shaped joints ? Is the smoke milder like cigars ? Friends used to mock my little standard spliffs. But after trying them they would often go quiet and look decidedly pale ???
  5. My disabled mother in law is the same age. She squirrels her money away all over her home then forgets where she has put it leading to accusations of theft against my wife and my wife's sister. So....big hunt ensues...money is found. Apologies .....zero. Rinse and repeat. My own gran had 10,000 pounds in cash hidden behind her radiator !!
  6. These nutters continue to do more damage to the image of the Monarchy than everyone else grouped together.
  7. That's the wrong way to do it .
  8. Meanwhile , 69% of rural farmers are looking for something that will either run on Lao Khao or have it coming out the exhaust pipe. When I was a kid I had an eco friendly car with zero emissions. Never again. Alright downhill but up hill....forget it.
  9. Russia's elite are all in Phuket busy pushing up the price of condos and homes.
  10. Whatever else you do , DO NOT drink any alcohol or get tipsy before you take your first smoke unless you want to spend the rest of the evening with your head down the khazi examining what you have eaten for the past couple of meals.
  11. After the horse has bolted. Takes a child's death to get safety checks implemented. Very sad for the family.
  12. Good grief . And she decided to hang around after the demise of the first dog ??!! I'd like to hear from her what his good points were ? He must be a really great guy when he's not in a bad mood. ????
  13. Why ? If they have the license plate number should not be that difficult . Plus , as Jacko observes , white Aston Martins are a lot rarer than a bronze Vios.
  14. Well yup , they look French. Definitely.
  15. 60,000 a month would cover everything. Some months you might spend as little as 30,000 or less. Then some unforeseen event sinks the budget. Health issues , visa problems etc etc. ..
  16. The apartment is not in Rangsit . It looks like your idea of Bangkok is squashed in between Soi Cowboy and Nana
  17. Well....you get what you pay for. Just a typical Bangkok suburb. Only stayed 3 months while wife was studying at Rangsit. I really enjoyed the roof top pool which I nearly always had to myself.
  18. Looks a tad more than 5000 a month.
  19. PA Tower on Phahonyothin Road Soi 46 costs 5000 a month for Air con room with bathroom , fridge etc and nice roof top swimming pool. Also coffee shop on site. Monthly deals possible but 10,000 refundable deposit needed. tel. 02 551 2639 Easy walk to Tesco and BTS station but long way from ' exotic ' night life. Plenty of good food in the area when we lived there.
  20. No need. It's all a misunderstanding ????
  21. And this : As a kid I wanted to go to Angkor because I found an outsized book in our local library with huge black and white photos. Looked spellbinding. Now not really interested . The tourists have killed off the mystique and magic. The irony is that a lot of people that go there have no real interest in old buildings, architecture or history but go because it is so famous and to get the selfies. While changing secondhand books once in Khao Sahn Road I overheard a conversation between gap year backpackers. Something like this : ' Oh , if you are going to Cambodia , you have to go to Angkor. Totally awesome." Yea , we've already done Borabadur and Ayudhaya so won't miss Angkor. ' Just ticking off the boxes.
  22. I fancy some quiche. Must try a you tube recipe when I have the time. How hard can it be ?
