Regardless of what one might think of the elder Thaksin - pro, con, indifferent - he has managed to build a connective and promotional media insight that keeps him and his associations in the limelight........and he's still pulling strings here and there, unbeknownst to many. The likelihood [and reality] of him returning to former political glory are incredibly slim......as he's becoming to an incapable age, plus the incorrigible and sound tradition of the Thai political machine would have it. All of the return talk can be put to rest. But......cleverly enough, he [and his handlers] is slowly grooming his offspring as the next generation of Thaksinite drones. Deliberately working their way in. For almost a decade, the show has been quite amusing and interesting to say the least. Who knows what's gonna come of any of this.
