i think with the premium brands for dog food you be hard pressed to find really low prices as it will be science diet setting prices in thailand quite high so unless the pet shops are ultra greedy there be similar in prices. most areas of bangkok there will areas with quite a few pet food places

for example behind paradise park shopping centre there are 3-4 large pet shops

next to octogor market which is opposite jj market there are quite a few pet shops there too

for sukhumvit soi 40 you have to look around rama 4 area to see if there are cheaper pet stores than are found in thong lor, ekkamai area

this new visa proposal has NO relation to being able to stay in thailand for close to 6 years on elite pe or 20 years on elite te i am not shocked at the twisted posters who think any visa that allows you to stay for 6 months etc is a competitor to the elite as these posters are so twised to always be ultra negative on elite card,simply there not in the same ball park and any visa that foreigners are on should be respected by all posters, otherwise whats the point of having a visa dscussion forum

yes its different as you would pay 500k up front to get 5 years plus 1 more year if you extend again near expiry. Compared to other options which would be paying yearly and cheaper

but right now many visas are becoming political in tbe sense of asean etc so its the choice pay the cheaper option and have to spend weekly study time etc or go for the more exoensive option which gives you all your freetime to yourself without having to study

i think you can also open a foreign currency account with the same bangkok bank

if i remember you can choose as many currencies as you wish the usdollar can open minimum 250$ euros etc a few thousand

cant remember if its just the hq branch in silom that they will make the appoinment

this option is miles different to the 20 year option as in that one you would have to weigh up what could happen to the programme in the future as you would need 3 more 5 year renewells in saying that the card so far as lasted 12 years

but this option seems to be pretty simple if you pay 500 k thats it untill 2019 job done

thong lor is overpriced and over rated

its fast becoming a farang gheto it always had alot of japanese expats and families so i really dont understand the fascination with living there. the local police are amongst the worst in bangkok for stopping a whole variety of people from various social backgrounds

and its not the only place where wealthy thais live or hang out for that thong lor has competition in soi aree, prachinwet 1, ramindra, crystal design centre etc

nowadays in bangkok every area has been sanitised to foreign needs so its no problem to find better value for money and a better local comunity to live in

i feel the opposite is occuring with more middle class thai woman with foreigners than ever before

maybe its because i am seeing more foreign to thai middle class partnerships with less of an age gap etc
