Rule #1. Take your time getting to know her. Mistake #1. Rush in quickly. How long did he know her for? How much time did they spend together? I have known so many men, who come here, and from the very start, make the same mistakes they made back in the West. Except here, they do not need to make those mistakes. The environment does not dictate that they behave like lambs. Many do not know, or realize that, or they succumb to "force of habit". Every ship needs a captain. If the man is not willing to be the captain of the ship, the woman will take over, here in Thailand. Most women here seem to want a strong man. But, if they end up with a wimp, they will take over. They have to. Someone needs to be the captain! Time allows clarity. Never, ever move too quickly. That is the undoing of most of these guys. Lastly, do not get hung up on them, emotionally. Have some fun. Get to know them. Take your time. Always remember, if it is good, it is only going to get better. If there are problems, they will reveal themselves over time. Time is your ally. It is rarely their ally. They are usually trying to step up the timetable. We need to push back. We need to assert control. We need to be honest, and let them know we are not interested in an immediate relationship. Something might develop, but if you are in a hurry, I am NOT YOUR GUY. An environment like this allows us to set boundaries, and take our time. Take advantage of that. Be a man. Step up. Pay tribute to the gender. Refuse to lay down anymore. Refuse to be a doormat. Refuse to check your cajones at the door.

Chalermchai Vows To Promote ‘Sex Toys Made In Thailand’ Campaign

Yes, they are illegal. How convenient is that? Does anyone think those vendors do not have to "pay tribute" to the franchisees, who pose as law enforcement? -
Of course. Where is their hope? The youth started a Facebook page on how to leave Thailand, and make a life for yourself in another country. A million members now. When you add in the horrific toll social media like Twitter, Tiktok and Instagram take on the lives of the youth, it is a devastating situation for many. Where is the promise of a better future? With a country that is being so badly mismanaged, and an economy that is being destroyed and sabotaged before our eyes, one can easily become despondent. How will things change, if the youth is not even allowed to show dissent? How to get rid of the dinosaurs once and for all. And unlike in the past, there is absolutely no moral leadership of any kind here anymore. Very sad. For those of us lucky enough to have a steady income, it is sad, but we live good lives. My heart really goes out to most of the Thai people. Their lives are being crushed. Woe is Thailand. The people are going to have to "dispose of" these sabateur clowns, before their nation drops to 125th in the world in GDP, down towards Burundi, South Sudan, Somalia, Niger and Afghanistan. The pride of SE Asia? Once, maybe. Before they made the historic and monumental mistake of letting the Thai army destruction crew take over.

Chalermchai Vows To Promote ‘Sex Toys Made In Thailand’ Campaign
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Let us hope the desire for profit will trump the repression, and along with it the fake morals, fake family values, obsession with face, fake aversion to sex, and the fake pretending that sex is not a major motivator of mankind. Let us move forward. -
Pubic hair trimming and removal products.

It happens, but it is very rare. Most women say too much body hair turns them off. Most men too. Straight men, that is! -

Oh please. These fake puritans have spent so many years attempting to repress anything to do with sex. Promoting it? Doubt we will ever see that. It would require a confession of sorts.- 40 replies

Pubic hair trimming and removal products.
spidermike007 replied to Fortean1's topic in Health and Medicine
Many of us use a Braun or Philips on a low setting to get rid of unwanted hair. I know of very few women who like or appreciate a very hair body. And in a hot climate it is uncomfortable and smelly. Yikes. -
People in Chaiyaphum warned about the spread of Norovirus
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
We seem to be becoming a virus obsessed world. And that is not a good thing. Just more paranoia and fear. Just say no to virus paranoia! They are everywhere. The whole planet, and our bodies have billions of bacteria. So what? -
Please. It is so easy to find now, why take any risk? Though it may be legal on the ground, maybe it is not legal to transport by air, domestically. Who knows? Why risk it? Buy some more locally.

1. An arrest means nothing unless it is followed by conviction, and imprisonment. 2. If this guy was serious, tens of thousands would be arrested. 3. The fishing industry was never cleaned up. Maybe a few low level guys were arrested. They likely still use tens of thousands of slaves. 4. The RTP desperately needs good PR, and he is thrilled to be their public face. The limelight is his favorite place in the world. Do any of his actions mean anything?

Planning to Retire in Thailand
spidermike007 replied to ChintaHuma's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You sound like you will enjoy a good life here. Without the need for sex, you are way ahead of the game. You won't easily be seduced and deceived. That usually happens through sex, and many men part with alot of money, unwittingly. On 65,000 baht a month you can live well. Working on building up the internet biz is a good idea. Would not hurt to have extra income for savings. If it were me, I would not get health insurance. Medical care here is reasonable. You can self insure, like many of us do. Look at other spots too. Hua Hin is just one example. Far nicer beaches close by, to the south. You have alot to look forward to. Life here is good for alot of us. -
Have you ever heard of a peculiar and abstract concept called humor? Since different people find different things funny, there are many different senses of humor and types of humor. Some like wordplay, while others might enjoy slapstick. If you're in good humor, you're in a good mood. The capacity to perceive or express the amusing aspects of a situation. There is little agreement about the essence of humor and the reasons one laughs or smiles at jokes or anecdotes. Among philosophers, both Plato (c. 427–c. 347 bce) and Thomas Hobbes claimed that individuals laugh at people and situations that make them feel superior, whereas Immanuel Kant emphasized surprise and anticlimax: “the sudden transformation of a strained expectation to nothing.” U.S. writer Max Eastman (1883–1969) saw humor as “playful pain,” a way of taking serious things lightly and thereby triumphing over them.

Notable changes in Thailand in the last few years.
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Alot less tourism. Though it must be hard on alot of Thais, many who are no doubt unemployed, it sure is nice as an ex-pat. I don't expect tourism to EVER rebound to it's former levels. Too much has changed around the world, and too little of what should have, and could have changed and improved here, has not. -

Thai Authorities to Promote More Traditional Songkran
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Songkran as it is practiced today is fun, and is a very sexy holiday. Tradition can be so over rated.
