  1. It does not get much worse than that. What a fate. My heart goes out to both of them. What a horrendous way to go and what a terrible thing to witness.
  2. This is highly regressive policy, and is bad for the nation. It keeps Thailand moving in a backwards direction. The Prayuth way.
  3. Is there ever a valid excuse to not have nearly all counters open during the hours when many flights are expected? Is this really too much to ask? Same applies to outgoing flight. Ran into a 45 minute wait on my way out recently. Totally unjustified. Bad performance. Surely, like nearly all govt. departments, immigration is over staffed too.
  4. It is the PLSP syndrome. Prayuth lip service to the people. A promise is made, and two weeks later, all is forgotten. It has been like this for 8 long years. Mr. Insincerity. There is no follow up in his game. And likely no intention to follow up. Does he care? At all? Certainly not about traffic safety. So much could be done to improve on "worst in the world" status.
  5. This guy is an ignoramus, an alarmist and a nationalist, which is nothing to be proud of. We are talking about a pinhead of property, under the stingy and nearly insurmountable proposal recently put forward. .
  6. She explained that it will promote fair competition, equal market access. Wow. That is quite a load of nonsense, even coming from these guys. One would think the people are accustomed to disinformation by now. This one elevates the art to another level. This is the opposite of free market economics and fair competition. This is utter protectionism. Absolute corruption. Talk about a complete lack of credibility. Boon Rawd Brewery, which makes Singha, and ThaiBev, which brews Chang, the country’s best-selling beer, are owned and run by two of the wealthiest families in Thailand. Through longevity and political influence, these two breweries have dominated Thai beer for nearly a century, forcing out or crushing any competition, foreign or domestic. And we all know how they easily accomplish this.
  7. The world is full of scammers these days. I get solicited all the time, by email and online. We just simply have to have a good nose and have a chuckle. Some of the scams are quite creative! There are many millions who just refuse to work for a living anymore, and would rather suck the blood of society. And never, ever send money to a woman you have met online, and never spent any time with. This is rule #1. Only suckers fall for that trap. It is all about self respect. Don't be a desperado!
  8. Oh, please. The Thais are doing a fine job of pushing up land and housing prices, on their own. We would not make a dent into that market. There should be no cost minimum. Every foreigner with a work, retirement or marriage visa should be entitled to buy up to 2 rai, and build on it and own the home in their name. This comes down to courtesy, respect, honor and dignity, shown to Thailand's expat population. Nothing more.
  9. I have Netgear routers and satellites set up in my house, and they work very well. 500mb speeds throughout the house on wifi. This just appears to be a glorified router, with a fancy name.
  10. Denying China, Cuba, and North Korea are communist is like saying AOC is a moderate. One can argue all day long about what it means and why most communist states have failed. But, allowing them to pose as anything other than communist is unproductive and disengenuous. China may appear to be semi democratic as it relates to their economy. That is where it ends.
  11. Yes. And Xi likely added if they question my status as the legitimate leader of China, we harvest their organs. It is an easy solution to silence your opponents.
  12. Well, one can make an argument that they meant more in ancient tribal cultures, as they were symbolic and had meaning within the tribe. I suppose you could argue a percent of the modern day tattoos are more of an attempt to belong, somehow.
  13. Never. Most do it as a fashion statement, and a desire to belong. Millions are enduring the expense of having them removed, after many years of agony, over the bizarre choices they made, at a different point in their lives. Especially those ridiculous tribal bands. They are the worst. Now, it has become so fashionable, it does not seem to make much of a statement anymore. Not having a tattoo makes more of a statement of rebellion! While I appreciate some tattoos aesthetically, especially on some women, I have never felt the need to have one. At points in my life, I thought about one. But, never found an image that might still be meaningful in ten or twenty years. Thankful for that. The army veteran and model, now 25 and living in Las Vegas, is not alone. As the number of Americans with tattoos continues to increase – one survey suggests three in 10 adults have at least one piece of ink, up from 21% a decade ago – so too does remorse. The poll reports that 8% of those with tattoos – potentially more than 5 million people – regret them. https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2022/oct/24/tattoo-removal-popularity-ink-regret
  14. I do not think it is that simple. We are talking about PFP. When money is concerned most guys are not all that concerned with the pleasure they give the woman. This is a far deeper pathology, I suspect. Demented stuff.
  15. As the army leadership is completely devoid of morality, and ethics and seems to be motivated only by money, in addition to not caring about the masses one iota, they relate to the Chinese, like two peas in a pod. This is a historic mistake. They should be treating the Chinese leadership with fear and trepidation. Their intentions are foul.
  16. When leaving recently, the lines at immigration were 45 minutes. I complained to the officer standing in front and claimed I had a knee injury and she finally relented and let me go onto the Thai side which was about 10 minutes. They could do so such better. They know exactly when numbers of flights are leaving, and if they cared one iota, they could have more lines manned. Coming back in, the airport was deserted, so immigration was a breeze.
  17. That says it all, if that is the case. A convicted killer who has been sentenced to life, walking free. Influence must be an incredible thing to have.
  18. Good on you for reporting the sleaze bags. They do not deserve the oxygen they consume. There are alot of heinous ways people profit. This is as low as it gets.
  19. Absolutely horrendous. My heart goes out to all the families that were affected by this tragedy. Every time I take a minivan I hope it is a decent driver. If you end up with a maniac, it is best to just have him drop you off. Find another one. Not worth the risk.
  20. I allow no personal freedom to my people. We harvest organs for profit and punishment. We oppress our minority populations. We barely allow any imports and make it difficult for companies to sell their products in China. We ignore territorial boundaries and claim ownership of the South China Sea. We are nearly the only nation to subscribe to a zero covid policy, even if it means putting millions out of work. I have just been appointment PM for life. Or, close to it. Impressive, huh? Want to be like us?
  21. Maybe I am too sensible, or healthy. I don't know. I have never understood the underage thing. Don't get it. Why? There are so many gorgeous woman over 18. What is the appeal? Is it just the perversion and conquistador mentality?
  22. You live in a building like that, with irresponsible management, and you carry an aluminum baseball bat from your car to your unit. The dog approaches with malice, and you simply crack his ugly skull and advise the owner to be more judicious in his next choice of a dog. Let him clean up the mess, and take time to reflect. Problem solved.
  23. What does someone do when they do not have a life? They become a netizen who spends their days blaming, being outraged, being a victim, pointing out what they consider to be the mistakes of others, being highly critical, and taking no responsibility for their own lives. They can't. They are too busy focused on the life of others. They don't have a life.
  24. Tough decision. Who would be more trustworthy with the cash? The taxi driver, or the cops? It is a toss up.
  25. Please vote. Vote for the "sold my soul already" position, or "the people mean something" position. It is really that simple.
