Free from 1970. A short lived British band from that era who played some fine blues rock music which still sounds good today. -
The government sets the official holidays and additional bridging holidays. Most Thais work hard and long hours for not much reward and so public holidays and additional bridging ones set by government would be welcome to them. Comments about the people being lazy is a strange way of criticizing ones welcoming hosts.

You are correct, it was first a huge commercial hit for The Animals in 1964. The period I was listening to this song over and over on the radio, was circa 1970/1971, so it could have been the Frijid Pink version I was listening to at that time. -
i always get one for driving abroad, wherever I need to drive. Anyway to obtain one is only about 30 mins at the dlt and costs 500 Baht. A countries driving license regulations say something but when the car rental agencies see my Thai driving license they have nearly always asked for the accompanying IDP and mention that I should present both to a police officer in the event of it being requested. Why carry an IDP? | International Driving Permit document

Why not rent a car in the UK for the UK part. Travel by train or ferry to a continental location and then rent a car there to travel on continental Europe. For driving license if they have the 5 year license, they can easily obtain an IDP at the Thai DLT IDP issuing centers (Thai driving license + supporting IDP presented together at any car rental place and to any traffic policeman if stopped and asked to produce)

If one was not involved in or seeking out the drug trade then it is doubtful that one would even encounter anything to do with cartels or violence. Mexico is a big country and there are many unique, interesting and safe places to live for an expat and there are thousands from all over the world who have retired there.

Have you ever tugged at the plant and found it is hanging on by the roots, resisting. Ever tugged on a plant and ones hand slips and it makes that squealing noise. Those are plants hanging on for dear life and feeling hurt.

Why are humans such a protected species. They should be treated the same as other farming living things. See how they like it.

When the article clearly states he is British, how did Russian xenophobia enter the discussion then. -

Judith Durham, The Seekers lead singer, died aged 79. Many from that era would remember their hits playing on the radio. -

Instore bakery Big C not making bread

See their various breads in Rama IV, Ekkamai, Onnut and others, prices have skyrocketed though (price up and product size seems to have reduced) so I have stopped buying it. Their best bakery is the Rama IV one in my opinion. I used to like their sour dough loaf. -
Why would Xi meet with an arrogant American government official? If anything the result of inaction by the Chinese on their recent threats reported in the news would certainly further embolden the US and other European nations to antagonize China.

When monies of a large amount are involved, be sure that govts will pull out all the stops and scour the earth to find and bring the perpetrators back to face justice.
