The router TOT installed is their Huawei Gigabit GPON Terminal. which works on Gigabit Lan, wifi 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz, I always connect either on Gbit lan or on the 5Ghz. Contacted TOT and they are going to send a tech on Monday to have a look.

For some reason my androidTV device upload and download speeds are very low and streams are buffering a lot Upload and download speed is 17Mbps DL and 5Mbps UL on a 600/600 connection on the 5Ghz. The speed test on a pc with lan and wifi is normal but the browsing feels sluggish an the speedtests are showing this intermittent upload and download in 0.5 to 1 sec blocks. Strange on my android phone it is all normal. Think I will call TOT and let them investigate.

Sometimes do a speedtest with nperf and ookla, there were no problems, the speed available and the speed on the diagram was smooth for upload and download. Today when started my pc the internet seems a bit sluggish so tried a speed test nperf and ookla websites that the internet speed is available but the diagram shows downloading the packages intermittently in 0.5 to 1 sec blocks both for upload and download. Anybody else having a similar situation on TOT or 3BB?

Stocks are always a risk and not everyone is savvy at undestanding and selecting funds, stocks and bonds and predicting what the markets will be doing at any time and factoring in all the fees charged buying and selling these things.

The rates are what they are, low, everywhere, and inflation is eating the money every year if it sits in a bank account. Basically over 10 years the purchasing power of the money sitting in the bank will have approx 50% of its original value. Govts want people to spend their money on stuff with government regulated companies or take and assume a risk investing in stocks or bonds with a finance company or use the capital to buy property to pay the bank interest on a loan all which generate tax revenue for the government. There is this krungsri mee tai dai account paying 0.9% on savings 100K to 2mil baht if open account in branch or 1% if open an account online. I think this is one of the best at the moment and I think is only available to Thais.

Who knows. But one thing is sure nobody can predict where it is going, up or down, and there is nothing any foreigner remitting money to Thailand can do about it.
