What a sad reflection on the country that a bus driver feels that it's necessary to carry a sword for protection when going about his duties.
When one considers the way some of these bus drives carve up other road users, they need something to protect themselves. Would not surprise me to see any one of them draw a gun.

I am sure the briefing was brief. "You are not Thai, so you not understand".

It wasn't like that on the Sri Chan Rd at the Lighthouse. Sure it rained hard for almost 2 hours, but floods, and thirty cm. Everytime it rains it floods outside my place to 60cm, and thats a quick shower!

Thailand may well be a top tourist destination, tgat doesn't make it any less dangerous. Simply saying the wong thing or giving the wrong look can result in violence.

only way this could work is to put governors on the engines
Tachographs would be better. Not taking brakes and speed limits exceeded is then recorded.

2 X 12 volt out put units. One is 220V 50Hz to drive an LED computer screen. Out put is 12 V 400 mA. Other one is 110v 60 Hz Out put 12V 1.5amp for Yamaha NP 31 Keyboard, US standard.
I'm not very up on electrics so am not sure if the LED screen out put will do any damage to the NP31. Or even if it is capable of powering the NP31?
I'm trying to avoid buying a step down transformer, so if any of you gents can throw some light on this, I would be very grateful.
Attached photos my help?

I was wondering how long it would take to put this down to "Thainess".... didn't have to wait long, right from the getgo.
What rock have these posters been living under since they were born when they obviously think a "scorned" man in their own country would never shoot a lady that rejected them.
That would depend on the country one is from. Guns are not readily available in my country.

I had the same problem with dtac. Went into their shop and asked them to stop the unsolicited messsges. Done on the spot. None since.

i still pay UK taxes on my pension and property rental and would not get treatment if i went back and that is unfair, about time this was challenged in court
It has been, and in the EU court of Human Rights. It was defeated in both.

From my experience entering the UK very recently, the guy who looked at my passport gave it a very cursory glance and waved my through. I didn't try for any medical assistance, so am not sure what would have happened. I arrived in a wheelchair so didn't go through the normal immigration channel, but my passport was not scanned. So, how would they know?
Or is it luck of the draw?

There were two UK passports shown in the video.
I dont think you got the subtle hint. But you are correct I see, after looking more closely at the video.

Are they British? One passport proves nothing.

Not only that, but, your original visa will expire in addition to the overstay.
You'll have to leave the country and get another visa if you let this happen.
I over stayed by 20 days a few years back. I was charged the daily fine but extention was given, no probs.

... I just love the way hyperbole is used when describing small achievements in Thailand
Take a look at the changes so far in the last 3 years. You might change your opinion.

They announced the ban and then realized that the police use their pickups to transport people they arrest. Government realized that they could not afford to buy new vehicles for the police, because they had just spent too much money on a Submarine.
You appear to be giving credit for something which is not there?

Why would he have the need to protect himself? Thailand is not a dangerous country.
