  1. I didn't mention any taxes in the comment you quoted. You didn't like my comment as it goes against your agenda and was factual. I even posted a link. Everyone knows how you like a link. Go back into your little corner and think long and hard about accusing people of doing things they haven't done.
  2. One more time. You quoted my comment and said " Yet more references to mythical taxes." Please show what taxes I mentioned that you believe to be mythical. That is, taxes I mentioned in the comment you quoted. If you can't, which I know you can't as I didn't even mention taxes, it just goes to show you are talking bo%%@ks. Not that that is particularly surprising.
  3. Please show me the mythical taxes you say i referenced in my comment. Here is is again, just for you....
  4. Please underline the mythical taxes I've mentioned in my comment.
  5. It looks like some working people will have the burden of paying taxed taken away. Those others that will be paying tax on salaries bereft of rises will be paying more for essentials. I'm sure they'll be so pleased tax hasn't risen for working people. That said, Kier and his buddies don't seem to be able to agree on the definition of "working people". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0k8n1lpv1lo
  6. If they are trying to do their best, they wouldn't have lied about taxes. They wouldn't have promised their manifesto was fully costed. The electorate basically don't understand economics. In the run up to the election all parties should have laid out their tax policies. They didn't, couldn't, as that is not the sort of thing that gets parties elected.
  7. I'm not in an industry. Sorry to disappoint. I certainly don't need any pay rises to "make a difference". If you paid more attention to your historical posts than assuming what others are up to, you'd then have half a chance of not tripping yourself up and looking foolish.
  8. Hook, line and sinker. Thanks very much. It was so much fun.
  9. No. Not really. A 21 hour week puts you on the threshold. If done one can't eat on that amount of work they can work more. The norm being 35 hours a week. Those "working people" that can and want to work only part time may well be pushed over the threshold. I suppose from a Labour point of view, those that can afford to only work part time are not classed as "working people".
  10. We are talking about cancer care. It's also 2024. Not 2016 to 2023.
  11. Unless those working people inherit the farm on which they work. Or send their kids to private school or own a business or sell an asset at a profit or if the raise in minimum wage pushes them over the frozen threshold. I guess you missed Starmer's definition of "working people". Labour have twisted so much, they'd make you a great dance partner.
  12. You mean like not answering questions that go against one's agenda? You have questions to answer. Do keep up.
  13. Or are they rightards? Or morons? It has to be one of these???
  14. If posters on a forum need to realise tax rises were needed, why didn't the, obviously more qualified, Labour party polititians realise during their election campaign? Or, are you saying they lied?
  15. How many fish and chip shops have you frequented in London? Not many, by the sound of it.
  16. When taking the financial help previously available into account. NO. The bills people are paying now are higher.
  17. To quote Harold Wilson: "One man's wage increase is another man's price increase". Whether ir not those on minimum wage will end up better off, is debatable.
  18. The newest and best technology? Please do share what this might be. Is there a new miracle cure for cancer only available to some? There was me thinking both Charles and Kate had gone through Chemo, just like everyone else. I think you'll find the money they receive is earnings from the Crown Estate. Only 15% too. The other 85% goes to the treasury. Besides, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. To have your Dad and Wife diagnosed with cancer and going through treatment at the same time is a strain.
  19. Prices are generally lower in spring, which is what your article confirms. What prices were before doesn't affect the ability for some to pay their bills now. There was also assistance for all, not just pensioners, last year. Not so now.
  20. Energy prices increased 10% in October. They are going up again in the new year.
  21. He's more on the button than you appear to be. Sounds more like you've been led on by a scorned ex wife.
  22. How can I possibly show proof of something that doesn't exist? Surely, it up to those who think it's there to prove it's there? Go on. Give it a try. Oh, by the way. I didn't engage with you. I posted a comment on a public forum.
