  1. No need to forgive you. I guess going off topic was a simple mistake by a simple mind. Sympathy is a better option than forgiveness.
  2. Going off topic to try to prove something. That's amusing.
  3. I agree. That's why you ignore parts of my posts you don't like. Anyway, I agree with what you say. Income and outgoings defines one's financial status. Overspending creates issues in life.
  4. You are quite right. They are defined by the part of my post you chose to ignore.
  5. And the vast majority of people who don't believe everything they see in the media and actually go and look for themselves. Those that are OK with working for a living, saving for things and taking care of themselves without expecting the government to catch them when they fall.
  6. Because things are not as bad as people like to make out.
  7. Not really. Anyway, your "40 years ago" is off by quite a few years
  8. I was replying to someone who commented about UK, hence my use of £££
  9. It is law that anyone earning over £ 9000 per annum is enrolled in a work pension scheme, unless they are stupid enough to opt out.
  10. "Being taxed less makes others poorer" That's given me the best laugh for a long time. Thanks.
  11. Is that someone with a million in cash? Do you include assets in that figure? How about a millionaire that doesn't work? How would you tax them any differently to what gets taxed now?
  12. I've asked this question, of those who say the same as I've quoted , many times but am yet to get an answer. Please define " rich".
  13. The photo is very much in line with your posts.
  14. Over your head. Obviously. ????????????????
  15. Like I said before, different offices use different rules. I know of expats getting a DL on a tourist visa, doing exactly tge same as I did on a NonB and then a NonO. Did you know, in Muang Buriram office you don't need to go to immigration for a residence cert. DLT accept one from the local police station. 50kms up the road 2 other ampher DLT offices, same province, don't accept one from the police and you must attend immigration. Another example of different policies.
  16. I think you are getting confused. Everyone does the reaction and colorblind tests. Most people seem to do the perennial eye test. It's the video, the driving part , thev45 minute talk and the multiple choice questions that expats seem to be able to avoid. Agreed @brianthainessseems to want to pick holes.
  17. That is correct. The video is hit and miss. I've never known any expat having to do the multiple choice test.
  18. As we all know, different offices and even different officers fo things different ways. I have renewed my licenses 3 times, all in the same office. Always had to do the physical tests and once had to sit through the video. No big deal as it's only once in nearly 6 years.
  19. You love it, don't you. Twist it turn it, until you like it. Whoever is being kissed by whoever is not the issue. I don't give a sh@t about who is kissing who. Woman, man, gay man, lesbian, trans, pan, black, white, Muslim, Christian, etc, etc. The issue, in these days of desired equality, is the polar opposite reactions to a kiss, depending on who does what. Kissing someone, partners excluded, is either wrong or it isn't. Which ever stance the public, media or keyboard warriors want to take us fine by me but keep to that stance regardless of gender, race, religion, sexuality, sexual identity........etc.
