  1. Exactly my point. That's why it cannot be called a "failure". There are many things that can be implemented, discussed and dealt with to eradicate the issues that need ironing out. Things that may well have already been done, were it not for the world being thrown into turmoil with war and viruses.
  2. How often do you travel to Thailand? You could enter visa exempt and then go to Savannakhet to get a Multi Entry Non O. That would then cover you for subsequent visits during the next 12 months
  3. The way Starmer and his shadow cabinet talk, they're going to need to find many more billions to achieve their goals. Where's it going to come from?
  4. Of course you would suspect that. Your political leaning is obvious. However, I would think Labour's calculations of how many seats they need for a majority will be far more important to them than how many the Tories might lose.
  5. Maybe so but who's going to win? The local council elections results were anti government more than pro Labour. If Labour don't win a majority at the next general election, they will be unelectable for many years to come.
  6. Indeed. People forget how many black leaders became I credibly rich because of the slave trade.
  7. Sad news. Joe was a mind of information and a great help to many on here. RIP.
  8. Nice bit of cut and paste from a republican website. 555
  9. I tend to nod off just reading the name of the opening poster. At best I give off a large yawn.
  10. You are obviously not up to scratch with the short sounding vowels.
  11. The government have received over 3 billion pounds from the Crown estate in the last 10 years. They have paid out, by way of Sovereign Grant about 800 million. I think even you can work that out.
  12. And being nearer to the route than they said, mingling with onlookers with megaphones and ignoring road blocks.
  13. The casket is imaginary. Don't worry. It won't cost you anything on electricity.
  14. You are correct. They were uninterrupted as protesters were moved on for stepping over the line.
  15. There you go. The article clearly stated "straps". You missed it or, more likely, chose to ignore it.
  16. That's fine by me. The feeling is mutual.????????????????
  17. Selective reading once again. You're quite good at it. One of the best on here.
  18. Who ever said it was? You've taken part of my post and quoted it out of context to suit your own agenda.
  19. There have been reports of protesters in amongst the well wishers. That was not in Trafalgar Square. There are also reports of protesters going through road blocks. Neither were authorised by the police. Let's face it, their plan was to disrupt. If that was not their plan, they would have chosen another day.
