  1. Thanks Jack, I may well give that a go, thanks for the info.
  2. So I filled again yesterday which is slap bang in the 15-7 days before due date online window of my Nov 7th due date if you ignore my September trip to Singapore and use my original date based on my last 90 day report in August. I just received the rejection: This online application can be submitted 15 days in advance until the due date of notification. So, sadly, it looks like this loophole has closed and things have now been joined up. And looks like I'm having a day out in CW in December, yay.
  3. Man starts thread asking for names for the ballrooms. Man spits dummy and tells people who don't drink MAGA juice that they have no say in the naming. Man then spews out a load of names as if he does get to have a say in it. Hilarious. You must agree with the almighty Riclag or you are not allowed to post.
  4. Excellent, Labour did well, Keir Starmer personally tackled him.
  5. What's the performance like in EV mode? I imagine pretty slow?
  6. Spot on, what a perfect response to a terribly sad and pathetic reply. Absolute heroes volunteering and one sad keyboard warrior criticising.
  7. Not according to Liquorice's experience. See the post before mine. I always understood it to reset when you re-enter but he did an experiment and it clearly didn't reset, hence my trying to see for myself if it really works (not that I think he is lying about it). I would be very happy if I could keep up with online reporting, it would be a major bonus if it works.
  8. Ok, cool, I will try again over the weekend and come back to update.
  9. So my last 90 day report was in early August. Next report due 7th November. As mentioned I went to Singapore in mid September. I am now in the 15 day window for reporting based on my old due date (ignoring my trip to Singapore). I just got a rejection saying it can only be within 15 days. I did do it yesterday which is exactly 15 days, so I will try again today. However it looks like it does actually get reset if you leave the country and return. Maybe this changed with the introduction of TDAC, could be it is now joined up after all. That would kind of make sense. @Liquorice when this trick worked for you was it before TDAC?
  10. That is not it's primary purpose, it to service the EEC route along the eastern seaboard. Land at DMK or Suvarnabhumi and hop on a fast train to Pattaya or Rayong? Perfect. And if you are building a fast rail service eastwards then you'd be foolish not to link it to U-Tapao for future proofing. Bangkok is continually expending eastwards and a good rail connection will make it possible to live a little further out and commute to work, just as happened in London when they built fast commuter lines in to Kent and beyond. Towns got developed, people moved out to places like Ashford and Ebbsfleet, house prices increased, quality of live got better for thousands of people. This would do the same thing. Even the ARL has helped people living out in Lat Krabang for example and that is why that line is so crowded at rush hours, it is not people going to the airport, it is commuters going in and out of the city. So it makes a lot of sense. It is NOT for people who want to go from Suvarnabhumi to U-Tapao as hardly anyone needs that. But it's a great rail connection for tourists and commuters that has the added bonus of stopping at each airport. (The DMK to BKK link will obviously be hugely popular). It'll be a great shame if it doesn't get built. But thanks for the brown envelope cliche, no AN thread would be complete without someone dropping that "gem". Yawn.
  11. It would have been up and running by now if they had have got the Chinese to do it.
  12. No, you are wrong, completely wrong. Yes they are buying Chinese rolling stock and paying for Chinese advice, but it is not funded by China. Obviously you didn't even read your link otherwise you would have seen this: Despite China offering financial packages for its infrastructure deal, Thailand chose to pay the whole project cost, ensuring the independent ownership of the railway And China isn't a dog.
  13. The standard riclag response. I am surprised the servers can actually cope with his ignore list.
  14. That is nt funded by China either - at least the part in Thailand.
  15. Yes, it is not a high speed rail system, that's why. It is urban rail.
  16. 250km/h when it gets out past Suvarnabhumi, 160km/h in the urban areas. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2493950 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Mueang–Suvarnabhumi–U-Tapao_high-speed_railway Yes, Airport Rail Link. 60kmh?? Admit it, you've never used it or seen it have you. Ir runs at up to 160kmh, although usually these days only around 120-140kmh, they slowed it down a few years ago. I use it regularly and being a geek I have measured it. I also live on it's route and drive the elevated expressway several times a week and in part it runs directly alongside and you can compare the speed to your own. Even the BTS gets up to more than 60kms. If you haven't used it or seen it please stop making stuff up about it, I am really not sure why. 60kms, what utter nonsense. Ah, you're just a basher, that explains why you are making all this negative stuff up, got it.
  17. Where do you get that nonsense from? It would run at 250km/h. Even the existing ARL can hit 160km/h between stations and they are only a few kms apart, although it usually runs slower at about 130km/h these days. No. It is very expensive, I agree. If you want a high speed rail built quickly and cheaply then you get the Chinese to do it - nobody does it better.
  18. I have to say respect where it is due, it is great to see Yaxley-Lennon tweeting about this scum bag that it is great he has been taken off the streets and that our girls are being protected. After all that is what drives him, protecting the children. Oh wait, no he hasn't said anything, he is gallivanting around Israel and posting his usual guff about immigrants. He doesn't give a flying fig about the children, probably hasn't even noticed this case. But if this guy had been called Ishmail he would be shouting his fat gob off, absolutely no doubt at all.
