Butter like Kerrygold in Thailand
josephbloggs replied to Bohemianfish's topic in International Food
That's a completely different product. This is the Anchor I am referring to, pure butter - no blend. At least I think, will read the ingredients when I get home. -

Same reason they all refer to Yaxley-Lennon as "Tommy" - I think they like to imagine they are friends. -

Agree with that. Allowrie is nasty. Anchor is the best product for the price. Villa also sells Lurpak which is even better than Anchor but considerably more expensive. -

Elon Musk’s X Withholds User Data from UK Authorities Amid Riots

"Fed up normal people" don't coordinate to smash up mosques, they don't set fire to hotels full of asylum seekers with the aim of burning alive those inside. They were rioters, they were racist. There's really not much question around that. If "fed up normal people" want to have a street march to protest whatever it is they're normal and fed up about then they are free and welcome to have one, any time. If they don't smash up mosques, throw missiles at police or burn asylum seekers then I will call them protesters and not racist rioters. Easy, right? -

He doesn't. And he gives up the info pretty easily in the US - in 78.5 percent of cases, maybe you guys need protecting? Absolute nonsense. -

Anyone can criticise the government in the UK just as much as they like. What are you talking about?? But if you're offering to take in the racist rioters then thank you.- 63 replies

DTV vs Non-O
josephbloggs replied to josephbloggs's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes, thanks Jack. It's good to hear opinions saying the same thing, that a non-O extension makes sense and just doing remote emails etc shouldn't be a worry. It's made my mind up for me, I'll go for another extension. You can close the thread if you like as I have my answers. Thanks all. -

Thank you Presnock for the link, very useful. -
He can stop it any time he wants by giving his country away, of course, that's lovely - just what everybody would do. You know Putin could also stop it any time he wants by calling off his invasion. Has Trump thought about asking his mate to do that? I mean Trump really only wants peace, right?
-
How old are you, eight? Because I don't like Trump I must idolise Harris? Is your dad bigger than my dad too?

What is this for? A bunch of party sycophants telling him they love him? Pass the sick bucket. "Thank you for mentioning God Mr President". Quick I need another bucket!!

Nothing to do with your orange hero. Simply a retaliatory measure after Canada placed tariffs on Chinese steel, aluminium and cars. These were enacted on 1st October last year by the way. 100% import duty has been placed on rapeseed oil, oil cakes and peas only. And to think you are cheering for trade wars. I hope your country retreats up its own backside and you can all cheer USA! USA! USA! to your heart's content and no one will be able to hear you.

Another cult member joins the fun. Childish, uneducated nonsense posts. Maybe put your banko down and do some independent research in to things. Have you even heard of Yugoslavia?

Elon Musk - time to return to your Office at Tesla

And you just believe it because he said it. I see. That's like saying "Noah's Ark must be true because it's in the bible". -
People obviously think you are a lunatic or deranged so they'll be giving you a wide berth.

Just Thai blaming based on no knowledge. This flight just returned to the UK with hydraulic issues when it was just 300 miles from the coast of N America. Standard preceedure to return to home base if possible even though it is often more expensive to do so. https://www.businessinsider.com/passengers-spent-8-hours-transatlantic-flight-turned-around-virgin-atlantic-2025-3

Hi all, Background (if it is relevant): I am in my 30th year in Thailand. 29 of them were spent working here for various Thai and foreign companies, always with correct visa and work permits. Last year I quit my job and moved to a non-O based on marriage as I have a Thai wife and two kids. My extension expires in July. Last year I registered a company in the UK (50% shareholder). Within the next 12 months or so we plan on setting up a 100% foreign owned Thai entity under BOI as a Thai branch of the same business at which point I would go back to non B and WP. Although not earning money here currently and just living off savings I would technically be doing remote work for a UK company over the coming months even though it's literally just sitting at home using my laptop for a couple of hours a day - emailing clients, a few calls here and there. However I would like to be on the correct visa for doing this. Would this be a DTV? Or should I just extend my non O for another year and wait to have a company registered here? I am not sure what is best even after reading a lot about it, hence asking the experts here. I guess a non O extension is simpler, but a DTV would be technically the better visa for sitting at home doing emails? And as it's for five years it takes the pressure off setting doing the BOI application so I can do it at my own pace? I have done BOI a couple of times before and know how long it can take. Thanks for any advice.

No, nobody gets a stamp. There aren't any inspection desks or officers - there's nobody to ask - you just go through security and then you are in the departure area. This is only in airports though. We have exited via Eurostar before and there is a border control check and non UK people get a stamp (if I remember correctly), but not at airports.

I honestly don't see him calling for the president to be assassinated at all. -

I'm not searching for it as I didn't claim it existed. I probably look at 5% of the threads on here as most of them are tosh. If you don't post a link to someone calling for an assassination then that's up to you. No skin off my nose, or ear, or oversized mouth.
