That's definitely going to happen - the nature of these people is to fall out. Too many egos. But hey, they will all love that because, you know, free speech and all that. Twitter is a smouldering cauldron of hate, full of misinformation and lies and personal attacks. So when Musk does eventually use it to attack Trump in the same manner he has attacked everyone else (via lies and nonsense) the Trump supporters will be fully behind this free speech. I can't wait to see it.

They stopped giving out plastic bags when the government ban came in - as did Lotus, Tops, Villa, Makro Big C etc. After about a year of development they brought in the current bags which are sturdier than the old ones and supposed to be reused (but no-one reuses them). They are also made from 100% recycled plastic from waste products (eg plastic wrapping during goods transportation). So they have actually done some good by investing in that and trying to remove some plastic from circulation (even if they are then bringing it back in to circulation). Democrats = bad, Republicans = good, and you will view any single piece of news through those goggles no matter what. It's actually quite sad. Here you go: if Trump negotiates a fair and just peace then I will say "well done". If he negotiates a peace that has Ukraine ceding territory to Russia or mining rights to the US than I will say he is appeasing Putin and his friends and that's his main objective. I kind of pity your blind faith that Trump is doing things out of the goodness of his heart and not for his own - or Putin's own - interests. If I am proved to be wrong I will happily hold my hands up and say so. Blind trust gets you nowhere, trying having a little objectivity in your life.

Why not deftly compete with - as you said it - better and cheaper products to become more competitive in the world market? Tariffs and protectionism only take you backwards. Musk has truly lose the plot - he is a disgrace. I used to admire and respect him but the change in him over the last couple of years has been shocking. I hope his downfall will be spectacular and unpleasant.
