  1. ???
  2. I don't normally like to bash if they are trying to do their best - even if misguided - but that does look spectacularly dumb in that area.
  3. That is one of the most boring videos I have ever seen. If you have ZERO personality or character why would you start a YouTube channel? Monotonous drone.
  4. Can't help if you're ignorant and anti-Thai. Also can't help with your spelling. So, come on genius, enlighten us. Why will they "be on the bottom because not enough brown envelopes"? The world's biggest floating solar farm in Thailand has just been fine for 3-4 years. It hasn't sunk because "not enough brown envelopes". So they are rolling this out to other places. Why will they sink because of "not enough brown envelopes"? (China has since built bigger ones but they also haven't sunk) I never understand what motivates morons on here to trot out cliches on every thread with ZERO understanding.
  5. What does that even mean? You trotted out the most tired old cliche on this forum and you couldn't even make it make sense.
  6. Because I like performance in a car. What a stupid question. Makes overtaking safer too.
  7. Just as an update, I am currently waiting for a flight to Dubai. Monkey class sadly. First time through BKK in a few months and I have to say it just keeps getting better. 15 minutes from check-in to security, getting a multi entry re-entry permit and through immigration. Security looked busy but was really quick - the new system is much improved in terms of passenger flow. No need to take laptop out of bag or take off watches, belts, shoes. Re-entry took just under five minutes from me approaching the counter to having my passport back with a multi entry re-entry permit. Because I had done that I wasn't allowed to use the auto gates and was directed to an IO but there were no people in front so took about 15 seconds. Loads of auto gates now, no queues. Milling around the place is busy and I expected the worse, but it was a breeze. Well done AoT.
  8. What? So if you live here you should only eat Thai food for every single meal. Do you? If you live in England you should only eat English food. if you live in America only eat American? You have some weird food philosophies. I feel sorry for your friends who live in the Philippines.
  9. Someone's been watching the shouty all caps anti-China EV channel again haven't they.
  10. The site wouldn't load and you literally got a page that said "site unavailable as there is an update in progress. Try again later". Not complaining about it (it's free, we should accept upgrades and outages), but a bit silly to patronise the guy when it said there was an update happening and he just reported that.
  11. My kids always called it the caterpillar airport.
  12. Do you believe everyone gets electrocuted if an electric boat sinks? Do you believe an EV needs charging every 15 minutes? Trump believes both those things. Why do Trumpists get so hot and bothered about EVs? Why so triggered about a car you'll never buy?
  13. Says who? You've never even been there.
  14. In the main terminal, same place it has always been. So you have clearly never used SAT-1. So why did you say this? You clearly just made it up as you have never been there.
  15. Ah yes, seems you are correct. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/life/2024/11/14/suvarnabhumis-sat-1-among-worlds-6-most-beautiful-airports/
  16. There is no luggage carousel in SAT-1.
  17. No, definitely the rest of the world is not interested. Apart from China which has several MASSIVE floating solar farms. But apart form that it is only Thailand. Oh, and Portugal. And Singapore. And South Korea. And America. And India. And Germany, Japan and Vietnam. But definitely no one else.
  18. Read my posts as I already mentioned it a couple of times I think. Treaty of Amity if you are American. BOI if you are not American but you have to apply and meet certain investment criteria. Not open for all industries but open for many. So there you go, two perfectly legal ways.
  19. I could tear up my visa tomorrow. I still own those things.
  20. Yes, things cost energy to make. Better do nothing then, just carry on burning coals and fossil fuels until they run out. Plenty of studies on the carbon footprint of EVs over their lifecycle, all of them supporting the fact that even if they got ALL their electricity from coal fired power stations they would still pollute less than an ICE vehicle. But you can look at it and wonder, knock yourself out.
  21. Yawn. You do realise Thailand already has the world's largest floating solar farm (45 MW) and it has been running smoothly since 2020-1. It hasn't corroded (glass doesn't corrode, neither does the HDPE that the moorings are made from) . It is made from very high quality materials and is well maintained. Locals haven't stolen it. This story is a continuation of the long term plan to expand it to another 15 or so reservoirs. Seriously take your jaded nonsense and just go away. I can't stand these constant negative, anti Thai posts on almost every topic, it is boring. Watch this and maybe learn something.
  22. Fair enough. Maybe your accountant ripped you off but I don't know much about closing a business. Anyway, many ways of owning a business 100% outright so your assertion was wrong.
  23. Really?? Not sure where you are going with this. I told you two ways that you can own a business 100% here. Not every can qualify, but many people can. I have been involved in three 100% foreign owned businesses and I am not American. You said you can't own anything 100% as a foreigner. So you are wrong. I gave you many other examples of things you can own outright. So you are wrong, spreading bar stool nonsense, and then picking non existent holes in my replies. What are you trying to achieve exactly? Do you feel picked on in Thailand? What's wrong?
