Talking of truth, you have ignored absolutely every single request to give any information on your pilot qualifications or experience. You are clearly a fantasist. No commercial pilot has your terrible arrogance and attitude. Pretty sure they don't buy frozen 153 baht rubber steaks either but that's another story.

Agree on the rosemary. I do like to throw a bit of thyme in when cooking steak though. -

You think they made up the journey time of the 1km train ride? -

The forum just changed! I am waiting for the deluge of people complaining about it as we know posters here fear change. I just wanted to get in first to say I like it! Much cleaner, more modern looking. Nice! -

Have you ever heard the phrase "you get what you paid for"? Well you paid for a 153 baht "steak" and it looks like it. Sorry, it looks absolutely dreadful. -
Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport SAT-1 Terminal
josephbloggs replied to SingAPorn's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
You don't get out much do you? DXB often has long train rides. My last trip to the UK a few months ago I got off one A380 and had to transfer BY BUS to another terminal to run to catch my next one. On the way back I had to deplane an A380 by bus. Horrible airport. A satellite terminal is just that, a satellite terminal. If you want immigration and luggage claim there how would you then leave? It is not connected to any roads as it is situated in the middle of the airport. And when you have spent the three minutes to catch the train to the main terminal you are literally right outside immigration. What a weird and misinformed rant. -
He is definitely not the only pilot on this forum - in fact I would wager he is not one of the pilots on this forum. The pilot I do know on here writes in aviation threads in a very polite, well informed and knowledgable manner. He comes across as very professional which is what you would expect of a highly trained commercial pilots who works in a high stress environment and whose job it is to remain calm and collected. The troll you are referring to is just a shouty arrogant wannabe.

My eyes hurt. In a move that’s set to soar to new heights..... .....made known she is over the moon about bringing back this sky-high connection. The flight frenzy took off on October 28..... Expect a fourth and fifth weekly flight to keep those skies buzzing. ......with a whopping total of 332 seats up for grabs. ....spreading their wings to explore Chiang Mai .... due to the pesky pandemic, which clipped its wings ....air travel between the UK and Thailand is about to take off like never before ....prepare for a staggering 552 flights and 174,864 seats ready to whisk you away ...Joining the mighty BA on these routes are Thai Airways International, EVA Air, and TUI UK (Charter) – because when it comes to travelling, it’s plain sailing ahead. I know we're not allowed to criticise these articles and I'll probably get told off, but seriously can a human not just read these first and go "ooh, AI has gone a bit over the top with dreadful cliches and nonsensical phrases on this one (I mean "the flight frenzy took off" doesn't even make sense!), let me just tone it down a bit". I just can't read their articles any more - surely they lose readers because of it.

Highly unlikely. The data in such systems is generally protected (zero knowledge encryption) and is also protected by government guidelines such as the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) in, erm, Europe. -
What the Hell are you talking about? Where did I say the captain was not in charge? Of course he/she is! I was replying to your ridiculous idea that they didn't declare an emergency because it would be a loss of face. They didn't declare an emergency because IT WASN'T AN EMERGENCY. If it was an emergency the captain would have declared one. Got it?

My Volvo's "pilot assist" warns you if no driver input or hands on the wheel is detected for maybe 15 seconds (I forget the actual duration), then it will deactivate. Pilot Assist is classified as Level 2.
