The Robin Hood is musty and full of crusty old farangs if that is what you mean?

I bought second hand here once and regretted it, but that was 25+ years ago before you could get certified used cars, you could only buy from unscrupulous tents. Since then I have always bought new but that's because I planned on keeping each one for maybe 7 years. If I only thought I would be here for a couple of years I would definitely buy a certified second hand dealer car. But that's just my personal opinion, it doesn't make it right - I just don't see the point of buying new and selling it again after two years.

Yes. The 90 day clock gets reset each time you re-enter the country. -
Bangkok Suffers Severe Smog as PM2.5 Levels Soar Amidst Heat Wave
josephbloggs replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Private cars, yes, except they are much cleaner now then they used to be, many BEV cars and buses. But still way too many cars. Lack of public transport? Have you been to Bangkok in the last few years? Massive improvements in public transport the last few years. Currently about 325kms of electric mass transit lines around the city which is pretty impressive. Lots more to come online in the next 4-5 years too. -

Tm47 online submission "rejected"
josephbloggs replied to walailak's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
At CW you have only a seven day window otherwise you will be rejected. I suspect many people don't know this (I didn't until I was rejected, went to CW to do it in person and saw this sign). -
Keir Starmer’s EU Reset: A Strategy Built on Falsehoods
josephbloggs replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Repeating a lie doesn't make it any more true. There is no evidence in your article that anything like that happened, nor could it happen as they don't have that influence. "Give us free tickets and we'll make sure Swifty gets a police convoy". And then it happened. Really, you do have some odd fantasies. Lies lies lies. Yet you ignore actual proven corruption by your Tory chums. -
The best toasted ham and cheese Panino sandwich in Bangkok?
josephbloggs replied to FriscoKid's topic in Bangkok
Had a Sourced cheese toastie an hour ago. Superb. Albeit a bit small for 300 baht. (We know cheese is expensive though and they use real cheese). -
Keir Starmer’s EU Reset: A Strategy Built on Falsehoods
josephbloggs replied to Social Media's topic in World News
There you go again with more tripe. Two things happened: 1. Keir got two tickets for Taylor Swift (as did other MPs from various sources including the FA). He has since paid for them. 2. Taylor Swift got a police convoy after the Met assessed it and decided it was necessary given credible threats against her. The Met independently do their risk assessments and they alone decide who gets protection. The two things have NOTHING to do with each other. Again, read your article, don't just live your life by headlines. And so when you say: Turns out the free Swift tickets were in exchange for a VVIP police escort. that is a bare faced lie. You can't be taken seriously at all. Is Starmer an inspirational leader? Not for me. Has he made some errors of judgement? Yes, he should be seen to be squeaky clean even if what he is doing is not breaking any rules. However, do I prefer him to the past few "leaders" with their blatant lies and rampant corruption: PPE contracts worth millions given to mates and donors with no processes in place and given to companies with NO EXPERIENCE of procuring PPEs, their only qualification being personal friendships with those in power. The most disgusting corruption. And the expenses fiddling, the disregard for the public. Compared to a couple of concert tickets. Your double standards are amazing. -
Surprised no reaction from BYD owners on this forum

Howe are you finding the transition? I left iPhones after the iPhone 4 and went Samsung. Was talked in to going back to Apple and got the 14 ProMax when it came out. Nothing but remorse. I mean it's not terrible but the Samsung just did all the little things better. Even after 18 months of use I only tolerate it - I'll never like it. I do love my Macbooks though - could never go back to PC. -
Keir Starmer’s EU Reset: A Strategy Built on Falsehoods

Scraping the barrel, even for you. He said "torpedoed" rather than "bombed". A misuse of a word. His uncle was on a ship in the Falklands that was attacked and sunk. It wasn't a torpedo though, it was bombed from the air. It was even in your "article". Only reading the headlines again Jonny? The Prime Minister's uncle was aboard the British frigate HMS Antelope which was sunk during the conflict to reclaim the islands. If he had made up the entire thing and his uncle wasn't on any ship that was sunk or wasn't involved in the war you would have a point. But his uncle was on a ship that was attacked and sunk. He is clearly not lying about his family's military service. As it stands you look desperate and pathetic really. Is that really all you've got? -
No one is booking a flight to have a meal. It's about improving their in-flight service which is a good thing. If you have two flights, equally priced, but one is served by an airline with great in-flight service and one is served by one with bad food, bad service, which one are you going to choose?

I don't think people are that precious - I have seen all the EV owners on here post the downsides such as they are. I spent close to 40k on an iPhone 14 ProMax about 18 months ago (I think). I still don't like it and wouldn't buy it again. -

Something popped up in my news feed this morning. The headline is: Toyota's portable hydrogen cartridges look like giant AA batteries – and could spell the end of lengthy EV charging I don't even bother clicking on them any more. -
What does the average British expat think of Tommy?

If he wasn't a massive hypocrite and a coward who only wants your donations to line his own pockets then more people might listen. As it is he's just a dog whistler and he knows who he's playing up to, but cha ching, the donations keep rolling in - I mean someone has to pay for his 5 star holidays and luxury accommodations. -
Yes, Mrs Wrap. 4th floor (departures), there is one at almost every entrance. I believe 250 baht per item. Not sure if they do bubble wrap as I have never used them, but they definitely do plastic wraps. https://thaiest.com/blog/baggage-wrapping-bangkok-airport

Agree with everything. The Ioniq N is so much more than a "fast in a straight line" EV, it drifts, it is track focused, and (supposedly) it is immense fun. The fake gears, fake rev limiters, and fake noise sounds like it should be horrendous but anyone who has actually reviewed it says it is brilliant - just a ton of fun. I'm not spending 3.8m baht on one for sure, but it does sound like an absolute riot. -

Woah, 3.8m!!!!! Wow. They have no chance of selling any at that price. Seal is the way forward. Shame as I prefer the looks of the Ioniq over the Seal although I think the Seal is a very good looking car. But that is crazy pricing. -

I really like the Ioniq 5 too - such a great looking car. Seen a handful on the roads. I wonder how much the "N" version will cost when/if they release it here. For sure will be way more than any performance BYD. But it is very very cool.
