  1. In a culture where it is not unusual to hear about men abusing their women, some exceptionally bad case is bound to surface and make the news.....
  2. Told you this stuff damages the brain...😊
  3. Roger Dangerfield, wanting to be remembered for who he was... 10 Famous Epitaphs: Good, Bad, & Weird May 1, 2561 BE — “…There goes the neighborhood”. Rodney Dangerfield epitaph. Funnyman Rodney Dangerfield continued his comedy even after death with this humorous Strange how just about every dead person was just such a wonderful person... Dangerfield wrote his own epitaph, so as to make sure that what was said was true
  4. All of what he is planning to do in Thailand (well, what he is willing to admit), he could already do at home....
  5. Convicted felon or not, Trump is the only candidate so far that can help the US. And from what I know, having done Income Tax Returns in my country for so many years, just about everybody will cheat if they are able to do so. And many many people are able to do so. So there is only a distinction of magnitude regarding offenses. Trump, a lucky one, was able to cheat more than the average person who could cheat only a little bit. And got caught because of the attention that he got, that the average person does not get. Perhaps you are still a virgin, and have yet to have an opportunity to cheat. Perhaps. But target all the cheaters if it is your intention to target cheaters. And then explain how you are not part of the general population who would cheat a tad bit, just to add to your savings. Because not too many virgins out there who would want to pay a little bit more rather than a little bit less. A conviction of Trump, only gives a qualifier to the cheat.... As most cheats go unnoticed, and non-convicted. Get over it. No one better than Trump now for the US.
  6. I would think that all income is subject to assessment. But might not result owed tax from that income. You write 'funds', did you mean 'income'?
  7. I wonder about that. I used to work for the Revenue Department in my country. Then Income tax was my hobby for many years. (Does not make me an expert here in Thai taxation). But I would understand the terms 'declarable' as income, for income tax 'assessment' by the local Tax Office, with a view to determine if income tax money is owed to the country. If I remember correctly, the unit I initially worked in was referred to as 'Initial assessment'. To determine how much they could easily grab. Because our dear governments always keep the option of 'secondary assessment'. I suppose that such terms get their own meaning according to rule of law of each country.
  8. Just wondering from which uncivilized country this foreigner came from to visit this, this, well, this country....☺️
  9. Does not appear to be anything that could explain this crash. Well, of course, many accidents here are the result of drivers on the phone, and hardly looking at the road. Could be. The culture here accepts so many driving habits that contravene to driving laws and regulations. Phone, oh yes, the phone, cannot address that. No one would want to see a crackdown on using the phone while driving. Everyone knows that the phone is a must, anywhere, and whatever distraction and casualties it could cause is acceptable. Then 'speed', oh yes, speed. Well, was in a hurry. That explains it and makes it acceptable. Then overcoming other vehicles. Well, was going too slow for me. That explains it. And makes it acceptable. Nobody complains about anything that is happening on the roads. No one would listen.
  10. Chiropractors suggest that the main cause of back pains is 'stress'. Given that the health of the spine is not compromised. And I found that the worst chairs are those that have a curved backrest.... Failure to find a good chiropractor here can lead to an alternative, an orthopedists, as there are some here.... Stress, well, difficult to identify, to diagnose, and no pills to get rid of it. Typically a change of environment would help....
  11. Well appeared to me that your intent was to ask an insulting question.... Then you complain about it bouncing back to you. And appeared to me that you dodged at an opportunity to describe how you think your question was not silly. And it was not an insult at you. it was about the question that you asked...
  12. Do you always ask silly questions when you do not understand a given issue?
  13. The Buddhists are probably at it again.... Or was it one follower of Jainism... Religion of peace claim that they are still a religion of peace. So there...
  14. Oh yes, there are invisible lines, beware to all, and invisible people watching, beware for those who exit this world. The limits that I follow is on my speedometer. Very useful as well...
  15. I often say: "When it happens in general, I have a tendency to generalize." But hey, should be some limits now wouldn't you say...
  16. How difficult it was to get any kind of substance from you.... But thanks anyway
  17. I had one, police trained. They are trained to get hold of a person's arm, and without tearing the arm apart, like a pit-bull would do, the just hold on... So what is your experience with dogs, that allows you to simply criticize, without providing any substance to your post...
  18. where they discovered a homemade firearm believed to have caused the injury. Further searches uncovered two additional homemade firearms, gun components, and two knives in the victim's bedroom. Surely this is part of the arsenal needed for advance studies in Buddhism...
  19. Sounds like you know little about dogs. German shepherds can be trained to immobilize an intruder, until the master comes to take over. Pit Bulls, are typically not used as police dogs, some are, but their instinct is to bite and shake and maim. This, in their instinct, is their job...
  20. The Democrats, oh yes, the Democrats. Believing that they know more than the 'people', they take more money from these people, to buy things that the people do not want. All the while, not spending on things that the people want. Protection, oh well, they are working on it. Well thinking about it. Well, a bit difficult right now. Well, well... The collective savings in the control of the Government. Oh well, needed to give to people we do not know, because of generosity with the collective savings. But this generosity practically does not exist at the individual level. Democracy ideally would mean that the 'people' decide. So ideally, before acting on the basis of possessing better knowledge, how about asking people what they want. That would be democracy. But Democracy exists only at the time of elections. After that, it is over. If it is possible to have a system that collects a few dollars from individuals, stores the information, and stores a sting of numbers associated with the two, called "Lottery", how about asking people on important issues, before making decisions on these issues. And then give to the people what the people want. Question in such a system: "Should we let strangers into the country, let them occupy housing without paying rent, and take your money to provide them for living expenses?" Please provide your ID number, indicate a choice of response, we will tally all the results, and we will give you what you want" System name: "Your democratic system in action".... And pick up a lottery ticket as well on the way out of the 7-11... It helps the party.
  21. They do not care... Regardless of all the words of politeness uttered ad nauseam, They simply do not care about other people...
  22. Hummm, you seem to claim that Thai men beating their GF is not part of their culture, and then you go on and suggest to wait some 20 years, (In which time the culture might have changed)...
  23. Already posted a reply that is also relevant to your comment. I was basically saying that lying is part of politics. Focusing on lies is just a waste of time and energy. Well, might very well be so. (All liars) And perhaps also by definition. Anyone who is in a position of defending a position of some kind, or attacking the position of someone else, will end up using lies to do so. But the main issue would be the actions of such individuals, in between the lies, does it create a positive or negative outcome for the country. This is where it gets interesting. So many people who claim to hate Trump, when asked why as it relates to the political outcomes, have difficulty answering. And those siding with Biden, one would wonder which good outcomes they are looking at... And regarding outcomes, I always keep in mind that the 'right' is 'right'. Which for me is the lesser of the two evils...
  24. Thanks. You prove my point. All that you describe is about hating Trump, while, so it appears, you know nothing about his politics. TRUMP IS EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED NOW IN THE US. And this is why the American public, who you admit are not dumb, have chosen him to fix the mess left by the Biden administration. Starting by fixing the border and the immigration mess created by Biden. (This is politics by the way, if you are able to distinguish between the individual and his politics.)
