Personally I voted for Jill Stein and I didn't want to see Trump win, I wanted to see the Democrat machine lose. Big difference. Now it's time to rebuild. I hope the Democrat party can peal off the progressive anchors-weight and disruptive elements from the party and begin a move back toward the center and back toward respect for classical liberal values.

I honestly wonder when the hatred inside of you is going to eventually manifest in health problems. I find it sad that you suffer from a perspective where you only can see Fascists, and Hitlers, and garbage, and deplorables to the right of you. And yours is a perspective that is echoed on the anger-torn Left. I am sorry, but I just don't understand it. No - Trump isn't "Hitler," MAGA aren't "Fascists," and conservative Americans are neither "garbage" or "deplorable." To invoke a Buddhist metaphor, you chose over and over again to pick up the red-hot coal of irrational hatred toward anyone to the right of your own world-views with the intention of harming them with your word - yet - you really only harm yourself in the end. You should try letting that enmity go and attempt to garner acceptance. It's four years and then there will be another election (two years for Congress) - the US democracy-machine keeps idling along in the US come war or peace, through thick or thin. Then you can support a candidate of your choice and toss your vote into the ring and may the whomever collects either the most votes (Congress) or electoral votes (Presidency) wins. Otherwise in the next four years you'll just eat yourself from the inside out. I wish you the best.

We do not need to throw around vindictive statements, such as claiming the Left's candidates are "cowardly." My guess is that she, like Hillary Clinton, really thought that she was going to win. And like Clinton, she is emotionally devastated. She was never someone who was qualified to be in a position of power. She has now lost - let her finish out her stint as a VP, not selected based on qualifications but by a DEI algorithm concocted by the Left, then take her place as a permanent guests on shows like The View where she can wail and moan for the next 4 years in relative political irrelevance.

Personally I'm quite happy if she just dissolves back into political obscurity and takes the doddering dementia patient with her. The rot within the Washington swamp needs to be excised this time around by the Trump administration. We conservatives do not need to drop to the level of progressives and liberal Democrats. There is no need to bad mouth average, liberal Americans most of whom like us are good people.
