COVID Vaccination Experiences - please post here
Kwasaki replied to Sheryl's topic in Health and Medicine
That's correct don't understand many posts here they seemed very stressed, maybe because they live in highly farangie populated areas. I told my local hospital New Sukhothai I will be quite happy to have Sinovac they told me I can't it's for Thai people, you will to wait until we receive Pfizer for you. I have both now and my wife has had 1 sinovac and her 2nd tomorrow will be AZ. Sukhothai had done a good job. ???? -
Well you have to make sure you used reasonable force, much same like in UK I had 2 baseball bats in house, one to knock out the intruder and one to put next to the intruder for the police see. ????

On line school lessons causing stress
Kwasaki replied to Twigtom's topic in Primary & Secondary Education
I don't see it myself as stress with what contribution I make to the lad in my wife's family I help out. He is doing a Chef's course and not attending college means he has to buy stuff himself for learning at home on-line instead of the college supplying equipment etc. So it would be the lack of money for him to have not learnt the practical side of his education. -
Yes agree as said living in a village neighbours are next to us and opposite, our house is in a small soi well protected when bolted up from inside with very strong bars on the inside of windows. Intruders would be unable to break into the main house quietly.

Yes the key word for vehicle fuel use is engine design. As you say you can run your MG on E85 from memory has an octane rating of 100-105. Our 1•9 Isuzu can run the diesel available here which is B10 it run OK on B20 too but the garage didn't sell enough of it so changed there labelling to just Diesel and Diesel B7. My sportsbike can only run OK on pure gasoline, 91 or 95 E10, I use 91 E10 all the time. I could get it to run on Nitromethane but not now. ???? As for my truck I do 12K kilos or 2 years on Mobil diesel oil. My bike 10,000K or 2 years on Castrol. I agree marketing is a con.

Yes I know people here use dogs in case of intruders but there not train for it. As I say we are fortunate to live a a safe village where everyone looks out each other. My farmhouse is my only concern but no incidents of anything broke or taken in 16 years and I leave a night light on all as no-one stays at night. Neighbours all around that area would be more attractive is there is any thieves about.

Buy Second-Hand Car 2,000,000+ Baht
Kwasaki replied to inthanet's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
You don't have to be superman to buy s/h cars in Thailand. If someone knows little of the working of cars, lose more money and stay as Warranty Man. ???? -
A lot depends where you live I assume only know of one robbery in our village in 16 years. Keeping kids off drugs are the main problem for the local police.

Higher Floodwalls to Protect Historical Sites
Kwasaki replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand
I reckon the 4 Lots. Lots of roads. Lots of buildings. Lots of concrete. Lots of neglect of thought. -
As said you have 1 year to renew a Thai DL. If you go over, you wouldn't need to take a test if you have your valid Home DL from your country.

Muang Kao Sukhothai Historical Park and Temples are open and have had no floods. I guess they sent all excess water south. -

Car insurance while waiting to renew license
Kwasaki replied to CWtalingchan's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
If you have voluntary insurance on the vehicle they can renew CTPL. -
From old info threads putting a number plate on it from a other vehicle is a separate offence quite a serious one from memory.

Car insurance while waiting to renew license
Kwasaki replied to CWtalingchan's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The few people I know telephoned their 1st class voluntary car insurers to ask the question all of which confirmed they are still covered under the govt amnesty pandemic situation. They asked them to confirm by email. If you only have CTPL it doesn't matter but you still need to renew the DL when it's possible.
