Agree travel insurance for tourists yes, no matter whose in charge of governing Thailand. For those living here health insurance at usually 70 + many cannot get. Taking care of your health as best you can is what's needed. My local government hospital where I pay for regular check ups is excellent. -
To stay in Thailand you should have the money to do so.

I have had 4 life forms in 10 years. The y send out by snail mail and because of that they extended the 12 week return to 16 weeks.

Had my UK pension stopped twice because never received a life form from them. Never had trouble sending a life form back by medium Thai post recorded Air mail. Maybe it got held up because EMS needs a signature and there was no one there to sign it.

There are mentally challenged people in our village, in Thailand they are released after being put on drugs and sent back to their family to take care. People need to know this and it was reported loud music cause the confrontation. The situation was handled badly and tragedy ensured.

Yeah a sad situation and the victim was maybe new to Thailand or ignorant of the nutter in the village, so many crazy people are let out after being put on drugs and the family are left to take care.

Well they weren't bothered obviously by the Thai guy, they should of turned the music right down, don't start mouthing off a the Thai guy and ask a neighbours who the guy was that approached them.

Unless you do unlite road riding and it affects the beam as to see at night. Personally I would contact Kawasaki head office in Bkk and show them the picture a headlight should not go like that unless you damaged it in some way.

I guess the on-line thing is OK for some, myself 1/2 kilo down the road the inspection place does everything and we collect disc etc from them the 3rd day. -

Dunlop trailmax just as good. There's also a failure story. Ridden on both the Pirelli's were on the Versys 650 bike from new, in less than 2 years they were cracking up on the side walls. I switched to Dunlop trailmax and they were still in good condition some 4 years later when I sold it. -

Easier enough ask the people you rent the bigger cc bike from. Met a couple who had booked and rented 500X bikes from a bike hire place in CM and they had 1st class insurance. -

Last I read for me to stop my UK pension being frozen a period of 2 years living in UK with a UK address and the UK pension being paid into a UK bank account. Of course you can still trot about all over the place your not a prisoner.
