  1. 16 years on my foiled covered fibreglass is in tact.
  2. The suggestion is a good one in case of failure. Rear use or spare on my truck.
  3. That's all very well asking here something can be suggested and checked by the owner with little knowledge. The problem with fuel injected bikes with ECU control, electronic wiring and sensors etc without a hand and eye on practical look at the bike it's a guess game.
  4. Yeah well good call most of the time ???? you are a very thoughtful person. Be lucky. ????
  5. Yeah good on you, take of your Mia noi bike. ????
  6. The OP luvs his bike but doesn't know much about how it works. Fair call but he needs to get it to Kawasaki dealership.
  7. All too a bit heavy here with me I tried to be a good father in my way and whatever my kid's achievements were in their lives were down to them IMHO dame as I lived my life.
  8. Put it 6th and push it, i doubt very much a seized engine. It's something electronic.
  9. Running OK before then getting home after trip stopped so something major I again guess not.
  10. Maybe your starter then or something else has shorten out without being there to look Into can't help.
  11. A loudess clicking sound when ABS is engaged is the system working, hence my guess faulty sensor.
  12. The brakes will still work there bikes made which you can turn the ABS off.
  13. That do the trick if he knows where it is. ????
  14. Can you disconnect the sensor and see if it will start. Other than that you will have to ask for help.
  15. If you check the ABS unit on the front wheel my guess would be it maybe faulty, dirty, loose fitting or wire connectors problem but if you can't find anything as always with these modern bikes a computer plug in analysis needed.
  16. Checking the coolant system on a replacement engine recon or engine sorced from another vehicle is not rocket science either. Only advising OP or supporting on what he is doing. Don't care who disagrees with me.
  17. I would say it will be taxed as stated on UK tax web site. There's a threshold on how much earnings or pension someone receive's before it's taxed.
  18. Bit unfair inexperienced labour can be found anywhere. As for Thailand dealerships have trained mechanic's but few and far between with many skills. I find most are just fitters or just servicing personel, not many have experience of fixing things, it's more of a you need a new part. The big wing main Honda dealers cannot work on my bike they say it's obsolete. True to some extent as parts go but the true is they only want to sell new bikes and work on resent models.
  19. Yeah I remember getting into my second house and the mortgage rate went 14%. House prices should be be frozen for 10 years to help future generations. Fair rents should be charged by private landlords base on govt housing rents. Stop people getting mortgages on 2nd, 3rd homes and renting them out.
  20. Yeah the west has got to up the game. Ukraine has enough antitank missiles from UK but they are for close range, I guess that won't bother the Ukraine soldier lads.
  21. The guys will get hold of one, no worries best way to go, the main part of the truck can still go on for decades so your doing the right thing. Why buy a a new motor if it is just something to get you to A to B. Status symbol's are not my thing either, practability is.
  22. Coolant fluid really is not rocket science. Is this the same thread, how's the reconditioned engine swap out going OP.
