  1. That's merely the gospel according to the leftist propaganda repeated in the fake news, the only news you're familiar with, attempting to get Harris elected. Trump's being elected fundamentally because his entertaining self represents the policies in the platform, of which you're unaware. Esp. since he himself helped write them, he'll definitely attempt to follow them, as he must in order to retain support. Despite the fake news, personality cults are more characteristic of the Dems, hence their hatred, name-calling, and demonizing of opposition candidates while giving their own a pass even if senile or utterly vacuous and promoting detrimental policies.
  2. Oft-repeated ignorant nonsense. Trump's obligated to follow the Republican Party platform (the concrete and valuable plans), which he helped write: 2024 Republican Party Platform. He'll have a staff help him do so, just as Biden and Kamala have their staff running the entire gov't in their steads. Kamala's plans are also known, more Biden taken to new extremes.
  3. A requirement, not a service. New? I have no idea. I needed a motorbike license in Thailand, so I started from scratch. The poster seemed surprised, puzzled, and by implication slightly indignant. I offered him perspective. I wouldn't have been the least surprised in Thailand.
  4. How does that work with your Zimmer frame? Could even be viral video to be made here. Become a youtube influencer, retire the mop & bucket. Useless. Anyway, you'll find expertise here: https://reddit.com/r/intermittentfasting/ https://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/
  5. Not entirely clear. I work on the basis of daily mcg and TSH has always been stable. If you need to split tabs, you split tabs.
  6. Oh, well. Me, I've had extremely few unsatisfactor experiences w/ Thai docs. Only one I can remember was the ortho at a prominent hsp. I figured I had tennis elbow. He took a quick look and agreed, "tennis elbow." Prescribed paracetamol and that was that. I researched it on the 'net and fixed myself w/ stretching and exercise. But negative stories abound, including in our home countries. Overall, my experience w/ Thai healthcare has been very positive, including at the gov't hsps, except for the waiting time. Never had a problem about politely asking questions, not trying to self-diagnose as seems a habit w/ farang consulting Dr. Google. Had German neighbor who'd insisted he needed a new heart valve. Thai heart doctors disgusted him 'cause they wouldn't agree. I helped convince him to listen. Eventually it turned out he had cirrhosis of the liver (drinking), causing fluid buildup in his lungs.
  7. Use agents. Always money well spent.
  8. Not so unusual, I think. I had to get an official Japanese translation of my California DL before I could get a Japanese DL. Not cheap, either.
  9. Glad you aren't, just more wasting space on your part. 'Course, if you don't read it, then you don't actually know if it's rubbish, except that the first few lines indicate it disagrees with you and therefore . . . 🤣 All your usual childish attempts at superiority were a good laugh, but enough with the time-wasting. So you've learned that a bickerfest with me isn't going anywhere, good. Now you just need apply the same lesson to stop bickering with other members. 🙂
  10. What you don't seem to grasp is that I don't need to grasp that and don't really care anyway. Merely a gratuitous self-serving assumption on your part. LOL. Average users are whom I'm addressing here. Me, I'll regedit, patch, or HxD as needed. Haven't used Rufus in many years; it's come far. I mostly use Ventoy or Etcher lately when dealing w/ ISOs. It's only self-appointed little forum gurus such as yourself who need cluelessly to dream up fantasies about what I need or prefer. Average users aren't going to check the Rufus website, nor would users here. Nor would I make a point of it, actually, as I have no personal interest in installing Win 11. If I did I wouldn't need Rufus. You yourself could have researched the topic long before I did and given the latest info that you found, but you didn't; merely waited to jump in and bicker as usual. But they didn't succeed. No further info about that user exists, to my knowledge, and so it's as up-to-date as it gets. If you know him, then you may ask for today's status. As I noted, a variety of outcomes exist with 24H2, and I linked to a discussion thread, one of many. Whether the latest Rufus solves everyone's problems, I dunno. I don't think that's really known yet, except perhaps to you. 😉 Yawn. Occasionally reporting accurate info I happen to run across that respected sources have just reported to their users (not scaremongering), and suggesting a possible head-up here, isn't in the least scaremongering, as you need to imagine. I'll continue to do so as I wish. Now I do think it's probably wise of anyone who attempts to workaround product requirements or use hacks to not be too smug about the future, but it's really up to him, you see. So, sympathizing with inferiority complex driving the incorrigible bickerer towards the biggest e-penis, I leave you to enjoy bickering over each of my replies and then even bickering with your own bickers, as I'm not getting into another of your fests.
  11. Yes, by appeals courts and eventual exoneration and freedom from leftist political lawfare.
  12. Leftist lies and name-calling, all you have left in absence of policy, has lost its potency, as Trump's rise in the polls show despite a solid wall of constant propaganda from the regime media. The sofa's waiting for you. The fury on the left, duly parroted here, about Trump's light-hearted McDonald's appearance verifies it was a yuge success. MSNBC and its left-wing media ilk are melting down faster than a McFlurry in August after Donald Trump strapped on an apron behind the counter of a Pennsylvania McDonald’s over the weekend. The outlets blasted the former president’s lighthearted campaign appearance in the key 2024 battleground as a “stunt” and “bizarre” while questioning his mental faculties and even critiquing his french fry-salting technique — only to futilely try to battle back against thousands of online critics roasting them over the lame attacks. --MSNBC dragged for desperate attempts to spin Trump’s McDonald’s appearance: ‘Drives the Left crazy’
  13. The PC, too. Hey--a little love, please.
  14. Nobody's looking for a Rufus script. The fact that one is needed verifies that M'soft has tightened things up. I ran across a "failed 24H2" thread in which the Rufus developer jumped in and showed concern. So I figured he'd see if he couldn't come up w/ another workaround, as implied in my post. So he did. I see on today's freeware lists that 4.6 is out, so I looked at the changelog: Version 4.6 (2024.10.21) Add a new setup.exe wrapper to bypass Windows 11 24H2 in-place upgrade restrictions Add TimeZone to regional options replication Set local account passwords to not expire by default Fix an error when trying to write compressed VHD images Fix an error when invoking Rufus from the PowerShell commandline Improve revoked UEFI bootloaders check to support Linux SBAT, Windows SVN and cert DBX Improve support for ReactOS boot media Which sounds good. We'll see how it goes down w/ the vast numbers of Win users w/ older hardware.
  15. Never liked that genre of game, construction, management, strategy, cartoon-like. Prefer FPS such as the Call Of Duty series or RPGs. Working thru a heavily modded Skyrim at present.
  16. Hmm. Well, depending on how much free space you have, you could create a new partition on the external drive, say 256 GB, and install Windows on that. Then just change the Windows libraries to point to the relevant folders on the "data" partition. Commonly done. But I think you're set on a new computer, so that'll be my last word. Fun buying a new computer, exceeded only by that of building yourself a new one. 'Course, there's nothing like the first one, eh.
  17. Had to, couldn't get back up.
  18. Kamala's fake townhall w/ Liz:
  19. World class wanna be prez lazy grifting: Mass grifting
  20. Just glancing around on the 'net, the bypass now seems hit-or-miss w/ 24H2. Some insist that as long as your CPU supports SSE4.2, the old bypass will work; if not, then that loophole's gone. If not, it may install and run until you reboot. Another user says: The Rufus bypass method no longer works, at least for me on my 2018 hardware. The options to bypass are still there in Rufus, however, 24H2 forces the use of BitLocker, which absolutely requires TPM. Therefore, I cannot update 23H2 using USB Flash Drive or an .ISO file using the many methods we've been using the past few years to get Win11 installed on slightly older hardware. Some claim no problems, others insist that now various other hoops need to be jumped. Rufus, still actively supported, may update for more workaround. There's a discussion here (among many): https://www.elevenforum.com/t/how-do-i-get-around-this-issue-to-install-24h2.29134/ Seems M'soft did get stricter, but hasn't really dropped the hammer yet. YMMV. If I run across further news, I'll pass it along.
  21. Have you considered taking the SSD drive out of the external box and switching it with the internal HDD?
  22. Which members installed or upgraded to Win 11 24H2 bypassing TPM and with an unsupported CPU?
