Democrats Brand Trump and Vance as "Weird" in New Political Strategy
BigStar replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The ANF Poster Boomerang Principle holds: simply means you are a left-wing nut. -
Nah, heat water in a glass measuring cup in the microwave (while you're preparing the filter). Has a pour spout, can control the flow & placement well enough. For more or less of that, you just add more or less coffee in the filter. You may keep a little diary if you wish. Sorted! 🙂 Yep, that's about what it is, come down to it. Obviously, I'm not a gourmet coffee drinker, and fussing around preparing coffee (or anything else) is something I avoid.

Socialist kindergarden kindergarten. Works if properly implemented, e.g., Japan, Germany. Israel didn't do it right the first time. Then the USA screwed some things up as usual, as in "Irak," as our elites, ever priding themselves on their superior "knownledge [sic] and IQ," spell it. But I'm not wasting further time on this subtopic. -

Exactly. Watch the difference: leftist thug "democracy" advocates vs the supposed fascist Trump supporters. -

But, alas, just as you were reaching for another glass of Chablis, the honeymoon's starting to fade. However, she'll get another bump up w/ the VP pick and the convention. All downhill from there. 🙂 . . . the horserace has reset to a 3-point lead for Trump, 48% to 45%, with 7% still undecided. --JULY HARVARD CAPS / HARRIS POLL: HARRIS RESETS RACE TO PRE-DEBATE LEVELS FOLLOWING HER ENTRANCE; TRUMP HOLDS LEAD -
Great! I needn't waste time trying to educate you. Hopeless from the beginning, no?

Here she is in what now passes for "normal" on the Left: Now that the campaign dreamed up "weird" to distract from Kamala's record as they scramble to erase it, their Pravda press duly echoed it. And so our parrots quickly picked it up here. -
No, she's always done well. Middle class, two degrees, one in English from Rankamhaeng. Works out in the gym, does yoga, has a great job, richer than I am. WHAT a woman!💘

Outrage Sparked in Thailand Over Apple's 'Out of Office' Advert
BigStar replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
No, that's not what you were trying to tell me or anyone. You had merely made up a point about the individual spend per tourist. All you can say is that 40 million tourists bring in more money than the projected 35 million or the current 20 million. I guess that suitably profound.🙂 -
Thailand businesses urged to adopt same-day delivery strategies
BigStar replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
As it is, deliveries have become significantly faster than they used to be. I ordered 5 miscellaneous items on Lazada on Monday and 4 of them came the next day. It has happened that I needed something the same day and wished I could just order it rather than going out shopping for it. Be nice to have the option, but that would likely mean price rises. -

And way up over last year. So much for our myth of Perpetual Decline. Doesn't sound like it. Thai hotel operators are set to rack in heavy profits from resurgence in tourism despite being low season But TAT rarely gives figures for the average spend. It gives the numbers for generated revenue, totally different. It's usually our ace ANF mathematicians who grab their calculators and divide the generated revenue by the nunber of tourists to arrive at their laughable average spend figure to arrive at the definitive proof that TAT tells porkies! So I doubt you have any individual spend figures, but the generated revenue figure is what's most important anyway. -

So optimistic, it's touching. Quite true. And me, I'm always glad I decided to move here a couple of decades ago. -
Most grads of secondary schools in the US and now the Islamic Republic of the UK write poorly. The writing here bears witness, no? Unis I think aren't much better, now focusing on the expression of virtuous thoughts, but it's likely the program referenced in the OP is mostly for non-uni grads. And the program is probably teaching the standard formats used for gov't docs. Anyway, good on 'em.

There are quite a few sois leading from Naklua Rd. to Wong Amat. How about walking down a different soi? I don't see how they could ALL be clogged with tour buses.

Outrage Sparked in Thailand Over Apple's 'Out of Office' Advert

Owing to the recovery from COVID and the slowdown in China, numbers are lower, just as they are elsewhere. However, TAT still has a chance of hitting the 35 million target. 40 million arrived in 2019, so that's getting pretty close. You don't know that "individual spending is lower" but simple wish to think so. Your hobbyhorse of the moment, "hubs," has nothing to do with the OP, just typical doomster rubbish. Tourism does, however, as it relates to the effect of the ad. I trust you're not going to need help getting out of your loop. But whenever I say that to posters, they always do. -
"Weird" is merely the latest Dem campaign talking point you've picked up to parrot.

No, in these cases he was speaking about specific localized audiences. No brain fade. Not boasting, just realistic. As a businessman, he doesn't believe in wasting time and resources.

Well, but so many of our members are knickers-wearing Brits. For Americans, I might use get their panties in a wad or sh*t their pants. Choose whichever expression best fits you.

Outrage Sparked in Thailand Over Apple's 'Out of Office' Advert

<SNIP! bigotry> The supposed "desperation" is merely a forum talking point in support of the beloved Thailand's Perpetual Decline narrative. In all countries, gov't tourism offices run various marketing campaigns. Yeah, that's what they do. The Islamic Republic of the UK is no exception: Great Britain and Northern Ireland's Tourism Campaign Is About to Get Even Greater Desperate? Oh, definitely not. It's only desperation when Thailand does as well. Meanwhile, Suvarnabhumi is being expanded. I remember the chorus of sneers that greeted the announcement of the construction of that airport by our ace TAT: ANF members and Airport Construction Engineers. Thailand didn't need that airport, had Don Muang already, quite enough. Just a boondoggle. Besides, the runways were going to sink into the swamp. Thais could never maintain them, planes would rust on the tarmac. The usual cr*p pumped out day after day. Suvarnabhumi isn't virtual or empty, as predicted by our Experts. Sure enough, when it first opened, some of them visited and confirmed: empty! 🤣 Before the Chinese slowdown, tourism was expected to hit 35 million this year. It's hit 20 million in 7 months. It generates a helluva lot of revenue (and of course taxes), the amount of which I won't bother looking up for you, as you seem too ignorant anyway. -
I enjoy the laugh and causing our fanatical anti-Trumpers, such as yourself, to foam at the mouth and soil their knickers. If you say they have no credibility, then they must be credible indeed. Now I think I'll keep on doing it.

No. The framers of the Constitution made sure he wouldn't be. SCOTUS reaffirmed it recently.
