  1. km/h, not KPH Source: https://www.bipm.org/documents/20126/41483022/SI-Brochure-9-EN.pdf/2d2b50bf-f2b4-9661-f402-5f9d66e4b507?version=1.9&download=true K = kelvin (thermodynamic temperature) P = poise (dynamic viscosity) M = mega (multiplying factor 106)
  2. Thailand uses the metric system, so it is kilometres per hour (km/h)
  3. Bob and Harry meet up in a pub and somehow the conversation turns to sex. Bob: You know, after these many years of being married, sex is starting to get bit boring. Harry: Why don't you try it the other way around for a change? Bob (horrified): What!? And get the house full of children?
  4. Currently, no discount.
  5. I'm seeing your post only now. How did it go for you? Emergency passport, aka emergency travel document, is what I would recommended. Most embassies can issue it within 34 hours.
  6. Thank you for your laudation of the Primitivo variety of Italian red wines. I have currently seven different brands of Primitivo in my cellar where I live in northern Italy, of which three are from Puglia but, alas, none is a Polvanera 17. If the number 17 in the brand name is the vintage, that mekes it 2017, ideal to drink now. Did anthing come of the talk about reducing or abolishing import duty and/or exise tax on imported alcoholic beverages in Thailand to attract more high-spending tourists? At what price does the Polvanera 17 Primitivo currently sell in Thailand? Where can it be bought?
  7. I don't believe this is true, as long as government agencies, eg immigration offices, are not eqipped to accept cashless payments. Is this topic about CBDC?
  8. I'm not sure if you are really human.
  9. An engagement between a "ladyboy", ie a person with a penis, and a lady, ie a person with a vagina, is not a same sex engagement. In other words, you are off topic.
  10. I imagine that a lot of people will get id of their smartphones in order to avoid this delay.
  11. Nobody is talking about an "exit sticker" This topic is about a proposed fee to enter Thailand. In other words, your post is off topic. From the news article in the OP:
  12. On what type of device? Personal computer (PC) or mobile phone?
  13. It seems that with every new government, a new constitution is written.
  14. Is this race a competition to see who gets to finish line first?
  15. Where are you clicking back?
  16. How did "the Nazi doctor" get into this discussion?
  17. I don't see the connection with balls. Can someone enlighten me, please?
  18. Android phone, Chrome browser. "Follow" button below the last topic listed in the topics list of the forum in question.
  19. Deleted the post myself because I put it in the wrong topic.
  20. I guess one has to live in one of these provinces or otherwise have a close connection with it to become familiar with these abbreviations. For me, living in Italy, they are incomprehensible and although having read them here now, if they crop up again in future I will probably have to ask again for an explanation. BKK I know as the airport code for Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and I am familiar with Ubon, Udon and Korat, which I have heard come up in conversation during my visits to Thailand, but the others mean nothing to me and I am not in the mood to memorise the various abbreviations invented by members of this forum for the 76 provinces currently existing and future ones to come. On my part, I shall continue to write my posts in a manner that they will hopefully be understood easily by a wide majority of readers, wherever in the world they may live.
  21. I've never heard of PKK in a conversation. I've read about PKK in news articles, where it was a reference to the Kurdistan Workers Party.
  22. What do you mean with PKK? I don't think you mean the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK)
