  1. Confirmed : Tried to pay at 7-11, didn't work. Tried to pay at Krungthai and they informed me about an error in Barcode and QR code. Messaged their LINE account "taxincomepattaya" now, let's see if I get a reply. I guess I'll need to get a yellow book.
  2. what you are smoking has not been invented yet
  3. well, once they start pouring sand, there is no stopping. send a dredge barge to get the sand back, wash it and then put the sand back on the beach. a literal case of rinse, repeat. Greetings from Sisyphus.
  4. I got a case where a client wants to accept donations from thankful people who got help on his website. My client has a bitcoin wallet. The donators don't all have a crypto wallet. So I'm looking for an easy solution akin to "buy me a coffee" where donators click on a "donate" button, choose the amount, and are then taken to a payment form where they have the option to choose crypto, credit card, bank transfer... and/or other forms of payment, and once the payment has been made, the funds are deposited in crypto in my client's wallet. My client doesn't want to know the donators' names, and my client doesn't want the donators to know his name. Is there any platform that provides this kind of service ?
  5. this should be an easy fix, unless that's not the only issue.
  6. Rule #3: don't make the backup restore test on the running site ! use another virtual host or a local environment !
  7. sounds like no backup was made ... seriously, don't do work for clients if you don't take precautions. there is a civil liability !! lucky if the client doesn't sue. please, make full backups and use a local environment for any change/development of a client's live site. I'm a professional website developer, contact me if needed.
  8. Let's recognize the International Legion's efforts. I wonder if France and other countries would authorize leave for "family visits" for some of their Legion members... it could help a lot.
  9. there were no such promises. "not one inch to the East" referred to the reunification of Germany, where NATO promised to not shift troops to Eastern Germany. another thing to consider is that the cable isn't a recap of the situation, it's a report about what Lavrov said. I was in Ukraine before the Orange Revolution. Lots of things (loads and loads of criminal acts by Russia) had already happened by then. Ukraine's bid for NATO membership at the time was a move to get protection from Russia.
  10. their content is good, but I don't like the all-talk, there are no pictures, no videos, no maps, no nothing besides the talk and I don't find the voice particularly nice to listen to.
  11. Quite the contrary. Western leaders don't think Putin is a madman. They think he is a megalomaniac, evil, murderous and criminal dictator. But a rational one. And he is playing the bluff. Sadly, his bluffs have worked partially. Maybe you could demonstrate that "rightly perceived threat against Ruzzia's existence by the US".
  12. what do you mean with trigger ? there is no need for a trigger, as Ruzzia has already attacked its neighbor unprovoked. a trigger is something mechanical, meaning when something happens, a predetermined mechanism will cause consequences to happen. in Ruzzia, there is nothing to trigger, while in NATO there is something that can be triggered, article 5, which will cause NATO countries to collectively defend the attacked country. as usual, more nonsense coming from you. Ruzzia can attack NATO at any time on Putin 's whim, no need for a trigger.
  13. maybe you could explain about the negotiations, what deal was offered by Ruzzia ?
  14. the Carnegie writer is not in the loop it seems. I see Ukraine's strikes on the Radar as a very clever part of ... I don't know what to call it, maybe you can find a name for what they are based on my explanation. Here it goes : - US going to authorize strikes with US weapons on Ruzzia - Ruzzia hates the US - Ukraine strikes Ruzzian radars with Ukrainian made weapons. The first radar was a useful military target, the second one.. doubtful. BUT ... it enraged the Ruzzians even more. Effect : suddenly the US dissuading Ukraine from striking strategic Ruzzian early warning radars becomes a bargaining chip which makes authorizing using US weapons to strike Ruzzian military targets within a narrow band around Ukraine seem like a lesser evil for Ruzzia, and at the same time clarifies the necessity for the West to better support Ukraine's defence efforts. well played, Budanov !
  15. my point is, Ruzzia is already throwing all it has on Ukraine, and they will continue to do so in future, regardless of Ukraine being able to strike military targets in Ruzzia or not. Of course, Ruzzia's arsenal could grow with the assistance of other evil countries. But that's not connected to Ukraine being able to use US weapons to strike Ruzzian military targets in a narrow 150 to 200 Km band around the Ukrainian border. Ruzzian escalation would have happened anyway.
  16. nope. Ruzzians already are using ALL of their arsenal to blow up everything they can in Ukraine, so there won't be a change. All of Ruzzia's monthly missile production is used in swarming strikes once or twice a month, which is a tactic to overwhelm Ukrainian air defence.
  17. Nonsense post with zero content other than calling me stupid. Why do so many anti-West and pro-Putin posts use expressions such as "as you well know" "my friends" etc ? We are not friends with you and people like you, and no, we don't know what you (and your friends) all know so well. You will have to explain what you know so well but we don't.
  18. arrested for "overcharging tourists" ? that's a new one...
  19. ok, let's look at this specific question of "SMO" : two questions What is the difference between an SMO in a foreign country without its consent with the goal of overthrowing its government and a war ? Second, by which objective criteria can we differentiate an SMO from a war ?
  20. the original story is clearer: https://thethaiger.com/hot-news/crime/husband-of-ex-actress-charged-for-93-million-baht-porn-site I guess the rephrasing is meant to avoid double content penalties.
  21. wow, reading comprehension. actually makes me think about how to formulate a post in such a way that it will be understood by readers viewers
  22. it also says a lot about the people who continue to support him.
