    Each to our own, though Angus, caldera and the cyclist seem to have my thinking. Statements, 60 day hotel booking, flight tickets out. Probably sounds bad to me, I've never arrived by air so those bits sound irritating. Been on retirement extension for a while so the real world does not intrude much.

    I am cool enough with the balcony window/doors open during the day (Bangkok 8th floor) but nighttime I can't do without aircon. Common syndrome or not.?

    The scan actually came to 15,158, that was a neck scan. Appointment 08,00 out by 09.00 and home by 10.00. No problems there.

    I had edema once, a few years ago. Both feet but not the ankles. I googled it and read that the answer was to raise the feet for 3 or 4 hours. As I was still in bed I made pile of laundry etc at the other end, rested my feet on it and after about 3 hours the swelling had cleared. Google in fact said do this for several days so I did it for 2 more. Never happened before and never happened since. Strange. Well you asked about edema.
