From the OP it's totally unclear what is requested? Doing DL from scratch? Converting home country (which) license? Having IDP? Doing it from scratch is the only way with some challenge. Did it for motorbike in 2017. Otherwise just paperwork and the minimal physical test.

100% fake. Picture of you is taken at DLT just before printing the license card. Medical certificate required. Physical tests required. Falls into the category of Khao San licenses.

Had SCB for about 10 years Closed recently due to their incompetence about facial recognition. Problems? Never anything blocked/lost. Now using Bangkok Bank mainly for transfer from abroad, ATM withdrawals and transfer to Kasikorn. Few transactions on the statement makes it easier to use at immigration. Kasikorn for day to day payments/bills etc.

More likely that the airline makes trouble when boarding without proof of onward/return travel and no visa. They see that in their rules (TIMATIC).
