That seems to be the video mentioned: and the location is deep on the eastside north of the motorway. Not for the inexperienced to find. (Mapsong-Nongyai 10) https://maps.app.goo.gl/K7DoWsZNZ3PgwQB3A

Woman Found Dead with Throat Cut in Pattaya Condo
KhunBENQ replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
Heavily modified face (if not purely photo-shopped). As far from Laos as possible. Serving the taste of Thai men. Some kind of entertainment/model work? -

Make a proposal. Skateboarding, BMX and surfing (in Tahiti!) made it. Nothing against a nice pastime but how you can fairly judge surfing? The whole circus went by without much attention from me. Lost interest. Tasteless LGBTQI opening, blokes beating up women. No thanks.

I once passed an accident site on highway 1(!) towards Bangkok. Ugly scene with more than one animal and car involved. Blood, intestines, feces smeared all over.

British Airways flights to Bangkok to resume end of October
KhunBENQ replied to webfact's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
From their website: return two weeks in November (2.11. to 17.11.) in Economy standard with checked baggage: 1154 £ Is that a bargain? (and indeed from Gatwick) Mobile site is quite challenging to my opinion. -

No. They just mentioned that some company has a pool of one million for other medals? (from a Thairath article) -

And she won't come with empty hands. 12 million Baht in installments or 10 million single payout. -
Severe monsoon warning issued for Thailand with heavy rainfall
KhunBENQ replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Another of these dramatic warnings. Last one seen from August 5 and nothing significant seen reported. Or have you? Looked up Phetchabun on international weather centers and they forecast some sprinkle (2 to 6 mm). ? Now what. https://meteologix.com/th/forecast/1607737-phetchabun/xltrend/euro/precipitation (I trust best in the ECMWF forecasts) Phichit: max 15 mm predicted. Tak: bone dry! -
Kuwaiti Man Causes Severe Accident in Pattaya (short)
KhunBENQ replied to Video News's topic in Video News and Updates
Indeed no traffic light. And the Thai text doesn't say that ("turn signal..."). Bad translation. -
No word about the essential flight control systems? Were the batteries full this time? (some years ago they had a complete blackout at Suvarnabhumi with backup failing) Runway lighting affected?
-
Should be rare if they lay cables for the low/medium voltage stuff in the ground as happens at the more developed areas. No more transformers hanging on poles etc. No trees tearing down cables... The high voltage lines are should not be that prone to weather conditions. (the report speaks against as 115 kV is not what is hanging on low poles around the roads)

Kuwaiti Man Crashes into Thai Riders in Motorcycle Accident
KhunBENQ replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
The other thread with the video says he was driving against traffic? Of course turning right from 3rd road into one of the Sois is an adventure of it's own even in daytime. And some excessive speeding bike riders don't make it easier. -
Kuwaiti Man Causes Severe Accident in Pattaya (short)
KhunBENQ replied to Video News's topic in Video News and Updates
Kuwaitis, Kuwaitis, Kuwaitis... How many more headlines are needed to kick these ruthless idiots out. Against the flow on 3rd road!! Lock him up (block leaving country, confiscate passport) until a million Baht compensation has been paid. After that deport. -
max internet speed data package
KhunBENQ replied to anotherexpat4444's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Upgrade the 99 Baht package? I guess you can at any time. Kind of "test" package to see whether it works well. Upgrade is done from the app. Haven't tried it as my 150 GB will not run out soon. -
max internet speed data package
KhunBENQ replied to anotherexpat4444's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Lazada? No I don't think so. I ordered from the GOMO website. https://gomo.th/package (select EN in the upper right corner) Ordering in English language is possible. BTW: they added new "extreme" packages that look completely useless for me. Bloody expensive, limited speed and 100 GB/month. Activate under a Thai friends name is no problem. Whether they have improved the registration in English with passport? -

Motorbike breaks traffic rule in Khon Kaen, causing deadly accident

Speeding through red light at this big intersection (I know it well) is a death wish. Wanted to save 3 minutes and gave his life for it. -
Tourist Van Drives Into Ratchaprapa Dam (Video)

Lucky guy at the railing! Could have been killed. Complete fail of brain or machine. Who knows. -
Bumping my thread to round up. I got the car/keys on May 12th, 2024 (new car, Toyota dealer, fully paid). Red plates? -> No, you should have "ordered". ? Super service. So driving off with the car and no plates. I had a compulsory insurance (original insurance policy) with no name/plate number, just VIN. Coverage with class 1 insurance? Unclear to me, found a copy of an insurance in the name of the dealer. Dealer assured me that the car is covered. I am not a great believer... Driving about 1000 km "locally". One stop at a checkpoint. Showing driving license and waved on. On July 17th driving to Pattaya (>500 km). One checkpoint stop, lowering window, waved on (showing nothing). Then about 20 km before Pattaya: stopped by highway police on motorway 7. Asking why I have no plate. Explaining the situation, showing the documents I had. Friendly salute and waved on. Back home and on August 1st (!) got plates, book and class 1 insurance in my name covering since May 12th. So all the time the car was covered by class 1 insurance. Car is registered in my name in Thai script from the yellow book/pink card. The registration date is July 9th! The timing will still remain a "mystery" to me. E.g. why could the dealer not provide me immediately after July 9th?

Google translate (WIndows / PC version) seems to have shet itself?
KhunBENQ replied to Kenny202's topic in IT and Computers
Just tried it on the translate website (PC) and it looks OK. Used four lines and got four lines in Thai. Do you refer to the app? To show a screenshot the thread would have to be moved to Thai language. You copy/paste into the "English" text field? From what program/app do you copy? I assume it's more a problem of the copy source not having proper paragraph separators? -
