Import of DJI Mavic Pro

Featured Replies

My daughter has the above quad copper and does not use it, she wants to send it to me in Thailand. There is much conflicting information regarding import regulations. I understand this quadcopter must be registered etc, my question is, are there any restrictions on Importing such a Quad to Thailand.

A little research reveals that the DJI Mavic Pro drone is available for sale in Thailand for around 42,300 baht... see here and here.

So your question is more related to how much import duty would be payable to the Thai Customs and what paperwork is required.

It seems that some who have tried have run into problems... see this and this.

I hope other members can help you more.

Where are you in Thailand and where is it being shipped from ?

Why not put a post asking if there is someone travelling to Thailand who could hand carry for you and you meet them ? :-)
