Bangkok 4th most expensive office space in the world ?

Just happened across this survey claiming London now the most expensive place in the world for a technology start up at £70 psf. Not particularly surprised at that but to find Bangkok more expensive than Paris, Boston, Los Angeles, New York etc was a bit of a surprise. Or another rubbish survey ?

The article doesn't state, but that has to be a per annum price. The figures they gave for Bangkok work out at about 2,300 baht per square meter per month.

 

Either they made that figure up, or they talked to an agent who was going to take them for a ride.

 

As an example, you can get space in Bhiraj Tower (the 45 floor office block built above Emquartier) for about 1,000 baht psm.

I would guess  the survey is rubbish, also I expected Hong-Kong and maybe Sydney or Montreal to be near the top
