Religion is simply a way to part a fool from his money, been doing that from day one yet many do not see it as think after death you go to higher places.

Utter bull if you look at it, every religion has a leader just too many gods for my liking so all of them are the Gods of the Brownstuff

I reckon the biggest bit of BS that many fall for, especiaĺly across the pond is the promise you get  your own planet. You must have an IQ of 6 to go for that one.

but this is what you typed

so which other faith are you accusing?

Do you read the news sometimes ? I never heard that all the crimes are committed by Muslims.

I don't know many Muslims, but they abhor crimes as much as i do. They are normal people, you know...

I have two words for those who come to my door and try and preach to me, one starts with F the other O, Yep those from across the pond as you put it are mainly on the receiving end, I know not why but love to see their faces as I speak.

However I have modified my reply.

However as your “points” were the same, so is my reply.

If by your own admission you don't know many muslims, how do you know that they abhor crimes as much as you do, and how do you know they are 'normal people' whatever that is supposed to mean ..... please enlighten us all as to how you came across this fountain of edification

Leave it to China to take this to a whole new level.

I read that they are forcing muzzlims there to turn in their korans and prayer mats.

Was wondering if its fake news as I don't hear the usual uproar.

Guess no one wants to upset the Chinese for their great contribution to global commerce and economic progress.

you shouldn't rely on rubbish spread by the "hate Islam media".

5 days ago - China today dismissed as "groundless rumours" the reports that authorities were seizing copies of the Quran and prayer rugs in Xinjiang...

None of these things are to do with faith.

They are to do with those who abuse others. They are the actions of scum, not faith.

You keep saying no one of these things are to do with faith.  But are you aware that these things are ingrained in the culture of Muslim nations such as Pakistan and Bangladesh? And they justify these things by referring to their holy book.

It's nice for you to have blind faith (pun intended) in the faith, but if you do a bit of research into this topic it might open your mind.

oh, incredibly helpful ....... you tell us all that you don't know many muslims, but claim to know how they think and feel about crime  ????

.... and then devoid of any logic when questioned, you resort to some form of bedsit philosophy ..... jog on

So  you  quote  entire  nations that  justify atrocity in the  name  of their   holy  book? Show  me   Your   research  that  justifies   that  allegation  please. Attrocity  in  the  name  of an  holy  book  by a  few  deranged  and  disillusioned  of  any  order is  no way  a  mandate  for  total hate of  an  entire   nation for  its  predominant   religion.

I’m an atheist so no faith blind or not.

The contemptible things some would have us believe are exclusive to muslims are not.

Scum of all faiths/belief systems/philosophies do horrific things the world over.

Hope that clears things up for you.

But Islam is the only religion / faith that we all know of, that preaches and practices child rape, homophobia and gender inequality ..... so please let us know if there is another religion that does, and consequently let Islam off the hook ........ I won't hold my breath

I also, as many here, have been brainwashed to think of a superior and an inferior race, but, as many here, i like to question everything.

My logic is : why somebody who's born in another country, have a different faith, and a different culture should be more or less than me ?

I hope is enough, but i am not holding my breath.

Do a quick search on youtube by typing 'Maajid Nawaz on Pakistan muslims'. Have a listen and let me know what you think.

Nobody is saying an entire nation is evil, but we need to acknowledge there is a problem so it can be addressed.

I would  agree  with  your  logic. A  different  country  with a  different  culture   will probably conflict  with  your  previous  experience. But  that  does  not   make  it  inferior or  superior in real terms  despite the  conflict.

One poster is saying nothing but that.

Or at least is claiming it preaches these things.

They are of course wrong.

At best.

I  have  no  need to  follow  your   link. Yes, of course  there  are   sites  that  provide  " convincing  evidence "  of  the  evil  of   many  radical people including  those  associated  with  Islam.

My  issue  with  your  initial  assertion was  the  typical  generalization  that  a minor  number  of  radical extremists  in any  particular  location   portrays  the  entirety  of  the  population  of  that  location as  being  totally  of  like  mind.

This might be because you are in complete denial that those prejudices exist in most Muslim cultures.  You're refusal to even consider this possibility makes people leap to the other extreme, out of frustration.
