Thai woman caught with stash of Ya Ba concealed in her bra

A Thai woman was caught getting off a bus yesterday in Korat with 380 Ya Ba tablets hidden in her bra.

 

Saichon Lothong, 26, from Bang Bua Thong in Nonthaburi said that she had got the drugs from an agent there for 12,000 baht and was going to sell them in Korat for 24,000.

 

Police acting on information stopped her after she got off a bus service in Kharaburi.

 

Saichon said that she had done this many times before. She thought travelling by bus she would avoid police checkpoints, reported Daily News.

 

She had a previous offence for drugs after being arrested in Bang Bua Thong and had served two and a half years coming out of jail in 2014.

 

She was charged with possession of Class 1 drugs with intent to sell.

What is it that makes people here confess to all kinds of previous crimes?  I can understand fessing up to the crime you've just been caught red handed at, for the reduced sentence.  But why in the world would they spill their guts on previous crimes they're not charged with?

They "confess" for the same reason.  Come clean in front of Buddha.  Show they are repentant.  They believe that revealing more will help their cause and they will get off easier.   What never makes the news is if they rat out the agent or the slightly higher up distributor they got the drugs from
