Only the first step but a significant one.

The indictment contains 12 counts: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.  All be expected but the charge of "conspiracy against the United States" is the one that matters most I would say.

In an investigation such as this, the first handful of indictments are usually made, expecting that the suspects will sing like nightingales. Today's secret phrase is "plea bargain".

Absolutely correct.  Mueller is looking for birds who will sing to build his case against the President.

I can come up with more.  Something about those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks? LOL

Generally, the Dutch do not celebrate their imperial past, and anti-colonial sentiments have prevailed since the 1960s. Subsequently, colonial history is not featured prominently in Dutch schoolbooks.

I know they have been nasty and I am not denying it, you should try it too.

Never denied it.  Just don't like people blaming the US for everything from their childhood pimples to them being overweight. LOL

Pretty obvious Mueller is in bed with Trump.  Two guys forget to file FBAR's.  Someone needs to remind him it's about RUSSIAN COLLUSION!

It's not FBAR's.  It's the Foreign Agent Registration Act.  FARA.

Maybe, but according to this article, its FARA's that are the big deal.  FBAR's will bit him a bit, FARA's help tie the case back to the White House.

The prosecution of Trump’s former campaign chairman and his associate Rick Gates could be the most significant prosecution under the Foreign Agents Registration Act ever.

The indictment of Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Rick Gates on Monday is, among many other things, the most significant prosecution of a Foreign Agents Registration Act violation ever.

This is what they are going after and Flynn, Trump Jr and Kushner could be next.
