Ultimately - if he is not going to have any interaction with his local Immigration office, then it doesn't matter about the TM30 as Immigration at the airports are never bothered about it. However, technically yes, but this also depends on 'what' the hotel fills out. IF Hotel A fills out a TM 30 when he checks in. IF Hotel B (1 nighter) also fills out a TM 30 when he checks in. Then Hotel A will need to fill out another TM 30 when he re-checks in. However, IF Hotel B doesn't fill out a TM30 then any change of address is not registered under a new TM30 and thus there is no need for Hotel A to re-register a TM30 again. Again... If your 'friend' is only here for one month and exiting via the airport without having any dealings with an immigration office, none of this is necessary. -

Is Pantip Plaza still there?
Fortune is doing OK. Pantip plaza Ngamwongwan is.... not doing well. Mostly phones. Pantip Bangkapi... not sure but that was dying for a long time. Pantip in Pratunam is gone. New name, very few shops inside, and nothing about IT. Palladium or whatever it's called where Pantip shops moved to before Pantip got previous makeover is also gone. There are however still shops around usual department stores, mostly from JIB Computer which sell gaming gear. I know Paragon had it, Central World also, I saw it at Central Lat Phrao, Central Westgate and The Mall Ngamwongwan, Central Rama9 and FortuneTown. If you know exactly what you want - get it online from Advice or JIB... If not, go to any of these shops or go browsing around Fortune on 3rd and mostly 4th floor. -

A friend of mine is staying in a hotel, he has booked for one month but he needs to go to another hotel just for one night. Does it have to ask the receptionist to do tm30 again when he will go back to the first hotel that he has booked for one month? -

Yes but again is which Pharmacy. Pharmacy I use for other thing is good and cheap, nearest to me is very expensive eg: last week went in to get 3" x 3" gauge pack 16 baht, my normal Pharmacy is 7 bahr same brand /size so over double the price. Found over the years prices vary in different Pharmacys even one next door to each other + some by a lot.
