Lost Passport In Los

Featured Replies

I lost my Passport, I have copies of the information page and the TM card also shows my entry date and when this entry permit is valid until.

I understand from my embassy's web page that I need get a police report

when I submit the application for a replacement Passport. I presume that means the tourist police.

Also I have a couple of questions that I would be most grateful if someone could answer

1)Does Thai Immigration have my information accurately stored on the computer system I am worried that I may have to pay some extreme overstay fine. I currently still have 3 weeks before I am actually over staying but with only a copy of my entry stamp I don't know what to expect.

2)furthermore I am here on a non-immigration visa but failed to copy the visa number is that recorded in the system or did i lose that as well. I can get another but that is yet another pain in the A$$

Thanks in advance for your advice in this matter

My passport disappeared last year, I got a police reprot but noticed afterwards that the canadian embassy's website clearly stated I needed a tourist police report. So I went down to Pattaya (closest tourist police to Chonburi) and got one. I compared both police reports along with my thai girlfriend, same forms...

Maybe it is suggested you need to contact the tourist police as they can speak better English than your local police station officers.

You may well face that pain. The comp will know your status on arrival, but won't know whether you had a single entry or multiple entries
