Goldenmile

You are not far from where I work - on Beach Road?

Oops just checked and you are not I guess.

I am close to Golden Mile though and was going to ask my pal tonight if he wants to go there instead of the usual boat or Clarke Quay

It's 2.44pm and i am at my desk in Abdul Rahim Building, Rama IV, overlooking Lumpini Park.

Oh...do you work for the Canadian Embassy? Same building and you have that kind of special stalin-g demeanour...

No. Same building,different outfit.

It's 5pm and I'm sitting by the swimming pool of our hotel in Phuket, (3rd sun-lounger from the left...)

I installed wifi, so I don't even have to walk to my hotel office :o

Sorry . . a little busy right now . .. another pina-colada has arrived :D

I'm back in Rome after my holiday in Thailand (and a side trip to Singapore).

I'll be heading back out to Singapore on Saturday, but meanwhile I am enjoying the delights of the Eternal City - and I should add, some fabulous weather right now.

It's bad weather here, stormy and raining but happy.

I'm close to this unique walled old city, Naarden/The Netherlands:

And this is the 400 year old City Hall:

where I married in 2005: :o

There are 22,000 people working here, you have to see it to believe how big it is. They punch out 52 high speed container carriers per year and something like 24 VLCC's (the next step up from a supertanker) each year, plus the several "special" projects they do (which is what I am doing). If you know anything about shipping/offshore you will understand how big this is.
