AIS fiber 75/30 VS 3BB 100/30 speed test around the world

Today i got both AIS (75/30 power pro package) and 33B fiber (100/30) at my home (im switching AIS for 3BB)

Since its a comon subject, but its very uncomon to be able to test boths from the same location at the same time in same condition,  i think its will interest some peoples to see it.

My house is in Si Racha (Chonburi), i did the test on my computer LAN.
Procedure is simple, i test a location with one of the modem connected, then i unplug and replug the RJ45 to the other modem and restart the test for the same location.

Also please note that the screenshot below always show the 3BB IP, this is because i started with it and speedtest do not refresh the IP when i switch the RJ45 plug.

Conclusion :

 - When its come to downloading speed, the winner vary depending the target location, also while we often away from the max theorical speed AIS is certainly at desavantage since the connexion is limited to 75 Mbp against the 100 of 3BB

 

- For ping, bandwide not matter, there again big difference can appear from one location to another the choise from 3BB or AIS have to match you ping need (if that matter for you)

- Uploading speed, there at the exception of australia AIS is just no match for 3BB, having usualy à poor upload speed under 1 mbp while 3BB never get under 5.7  Mbps

 

I did also test the wifi speed, they are very similar. Bothcap at the maximal theorical speed of the router : 50Mbps down / 30 Mbps up, and ping are also almost the same  (5 ms for 3BB vs 7 ms for AIS)

3bb also gives dynamic public ipv4 (mostly, when available atleast!) while AIS gives shared ipv4 CGNAT and ipv6 public dynamic.

 

3bb does not throttle against google/youtube (google drive ftw!) and throtlles very little or none against singapore location (which makes super fast if you know what you're doing!)

Right, but in my case the power pro offert have give me a public IPV4, that was one of the reason i chose this package over the cheaper one.

This say im happy to have change to 3BB, when i fisrt looked to connect my new home, i wanted 3BB already because of good past experience, but they was only AIS who offered optic fiber to it at the time.
