Hello mate,

 

Hope everyone here is doing well. I need your help right away. I'm looking for a efficient pull up bars. Though I am totally new here. I don't have better idea what should I take. Can someone guide me a little about this pull up bars. However, someone has referred me this link http://pullupprofessors.com/ But I am still confused. Can I try for it?

I'm no expert, but anything ' universal fit' usually doesnt fit / needs modification . If it hangs off the door , expect problems with door hinges or worse . You need the weight equally both both sides of the door frame . I intend buying a 35 " length of 2" dia alloy tube and a 2" hole saw . I will drill holes either side into the frame just below top of door opening, then feed in the tube...should have about 1.5" engagement either side into the frame . To stop it spinning either bond in place or have some dowells/ bolts, one either side going horizontally  through the tube  at each end.. There are 2 or 3 ways I can think of that you could do this bit. I assume you own your home? .. As a rented room etc the owner wouldnt be happy with you drilling holes...Though arguably the centre cores  from the hole saw operation could be put back in  the door frame later and maybe never even notiticed. Either way very minimal redecoration.
