Video footage showed nurses giving CPR to an elderly Chinese tourist who had fallen into a lake at a hotel in the southern Thai province of Pangnga.

But Sun Xiuying, 75, was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Following lunch and an elephant activity for her group tour, the victim was seen floating in the lake at the Bor Saen Villa and Spa in Thap Phut district, said Muang police.

Meanwhile Krobkruakao reported in the same video that monks and novices in Chiang Rai were undergoing CPR and other life saving techniques at the behest of the Sirikorn foundation.
