January 13, 200719 yr we live next door to the tesseban premises in our small town in Suphanburi. Last month there was a food festival there, all very family oriented and very pleasant...no rowdyness from young drunken thai males as one would expect. Today there was a kid's day 0700 - 1400 hrs with music, balloons, etc and the kids came back with goodie bags with biscuits and school supplies like pens, colored pencils, notebooks, etc. This is all strange to me as there was bad flooding here and the municipality's resources were stretched to put it mildly. But yet they came up with the funding for these activities. Have any of youse living out in the provinces observed anything similar? (today there was a roaring fly over by a military warplane that must've excited the kids trememdously...who knows what that must've cost?)
